Our Engineering Work Coordinator serves as the main contact for the Field Engineers and acts as their voice at EMF’s Headquarters to get tasks done.

Here's some of what you will be doing...


  • Open, follow-up on, and close work orders on behalf of the Field Engineer and/or Contract Engineer.
  • Coordinate and follow-through on shipping, including shipment status, on behalf of Field Engineers and/or Contract Engineers. 
  • Follow up on outstanding contractor invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Work with shop to ensure that items ordered on behalf of the Field Engineer and/or Contract Engineer are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Order parts as needed from vendors, confirming correct price, updating shipping and tracking information, and updating Warehouse and/or NAV when received.
  • Make travel reservations (flights, hotel, and car) for Field Engineers.
  • Update Site Status on behalf of the Field Engineer.
  • Contribute to one of our largest teams at EMF by giving excellent customer service & support to our Field Members & internal staff. This team is extraordinary & unique. Sharing your talents with each other to serve our listeners in the best possible way!



Here's what we're looking for...


  • A background in serving a population of field employees in all time zones of the country.
  • High level of Customer Service.
  • Experience supporting technical and/or engineering staff a plus.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude, ability to understand technical language, reports, and correspondence.
  • Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use related software programs/applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, proven organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
