Overview

We are looking for an HR Generalist who is experienced in all facets of HR.  Our ideal candidate will be results focused, and strategic, but also possesses the ability to build relationships, even in the midst of difficult situations. The right candidate is excited to combine their love of ministry, passion for media and music, and their career in Human Resources to make an impact here at K-LOVE and Air1. Our standards are high. They have to be, because God deserves our best, right?

Responsibilities

As an HR Generalist, you will partner with a team of seasoned HR professionals, managers and team members on HR service areas such as workers comp, employee relations, performance management and compensation.  You’ll have the opportunity to do high level work but will also need to roll up your sleeves at times and get into the “nuts and bolts” of HR.  Our environment is casual yet passionate, ministry focused yet fun.   We have a rapidly changing, fast paced, dynamic, yet highly rewarding environment.

One of the blessings of being in HR at K-LOVE & Air1 is that we get to do it differently. Our biggest compliment from Team Members is, “you don’t seem like most HR people”.  That’s because we’re not! Our team partners with leaders and team members with faith, compassion, grace and accountability.  And we absolutely love what we do!

One of the coolest things about our culture is that everyone here is on-fire for our mission. Come join us as we accomplish great things for Christ!

Qualifications

You could say this is a “plug and play” role, and with that in mind, the ideal candidate will have the following qualities.

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in all aspects of Human Resources.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic HR programs and initiatives from scratch to delivery. Examples of strategic HR programs may be training & development initiatives, performance management systems, compensation approach & structure, etc.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to have a lot of balls in the air at one time.
  • Experience and proven ability to successfully manage and coach through complex employee relations issues.
  • Strong benefits knowledge. Experience with self-funding a plus!
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality.
  • Experience within a multi-state environment and 300+ staff. Ministry experience preferred.
  • SPHR/PHR or SHRM – SCP/SHRM-CP highly desired
