    Our Engineering Work Coordinators serve as the main contact for our Field Engineers and act as their voice, hands & feet at EMF’s Headquarters to get tasks done.

     

     

    In this role, supporting our Field Engineers will be your #1 priority.  The work environment is fast paced with lots of moving parts that you'll need to stay on top of.  You'll need to juggle around multiple competing priorities and keep track of things so that nothing falls through the cracks.   Do you think you're up for that challenge?

    Responsibilities

    Here's some of what you will be doing...

     

    • Open, follow-up on, and close work orders on behalf of the Field Engineer and/or Contract Engineer.
    • Coordinate and follow-through on shipping, including shipment status, on behalf of Field Engineers and/or Contract Engineers. 
    • Follow up on outstanding contractor invoices to ensure timely payment.
    • Work with shop to ensure that items ordered on behalf of the Field Engineer and/or Contract Engineer are delivered in a timely manner.
    • Order parts, updating shipping and tracking information, and updating Warehouse and/or NAV when received.
    • Make travel reservations for Field Engineers.

     

    Qualifications

    Here's what we're looking for...

     

    • Prior experience providing administrative support for technical and/or engineering staff.
    • Strong Customer Service attitude, high attention to detail, extremely organized.
    • Ability to understand technical terminology, reports, and correspondence.
    • Tech savvy;  Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and the ability to pick up new applications quickly. 
    • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple, simultaneous projects.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
