  • Overview

    As a senior level manager within our Strategic Management Group, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the formation and implementation of complex, cross-functional business and technology projects.  These key projects have the potential of affecting the entire ministry and have a direct impact on our mission.  Success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver projects on time, in scope and within budget; as well as your ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal business and technology stakeholders, executive leaders, external ministry partners, vendors, etc.

     

    You will also be contributing to the establishment of ministry-wide project management methodologies and practices and serve as a project management consultant and coach to internal business customers.

    This is a full time, on-site position based out of our headquarters in Rocklin, CA.

    Qualifications

    • 8+ years of project management experience required on business and technology projects with the ability to work independently and on a team.
    • Experience implementing large, complex, enterprise-wide projects a must.
    • Experience with SalesForce (CRM).
    • Extensive experience successfully planning, organizing, leading, directing, and managing projects a must.
    • Proven ability to use leadership, influence and conflict resolution skills to effectively manage the direction of projects to successful completion with measurable results.
    • Persuasive and patient manner with the demonstrated ability to “bring calm to chaos”.
    • Aptitude to advocate for and adhere to the PMO Center of Practice as defined by the PMO.
    • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent required.
    • PMI PMP certification and/or equivalent experience strongly desired.
    • Agile/Scrum certifications and/or experience a plus.
