  • Overview

    As a Program Manager in the Strategic Management Group (SMG), you’ll be responsible for working with department leaders and executives to prioritize the right projects at the right time to help impact millions for Christ through radio and media.  You will ensure that enterprise-wide projects and initiatives are aligned to strategic objectives, prioritized and resourced, and successfully executed.  You’ll also report to executives on the overall health of portfolios, programs and projects, identify issues and risks and create mitigation plans. This position will mature and maintain PMO best practices, establish project management methodologies, and act as a project advisor to Project Managers.

    This is a full time, on-site position based out of our headquarters in Rocklin, CA.

    Qualifications

    Still interested? If so, here’s some background we are looking for..

    • Leading a Project Management Office (PMO) and acting in a Project Manager role on both business and technology projects.
    • Exposure to non-profit setting, media industry, digital transformation and on consumer-facing projects is desired.
    • Implementing enterprise-wide, large complex programs, projects, and initiatives.
    • Working with senior leadership.
    • Proven ability to plan, organize, lead, direct, and manage programs, projects, and strategic initiatives.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships at staff and executive levels.
    • Possesses a persuasive and patient manner with the demonstrated ability to “bring calm to chaos”.
    • Deep project management expertise and ability to ‘right-size’ tools, methodology and structure based on the business need.
    • A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality; need to be a team player and leader.
    • Proficiency with Project Management software and MS Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Outlook).
    • BS/BA degree or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
    • PMI PMP certification desired.
