    Vision caster, cinematic storyteller, leader, creative – characteristics that will make you ideally suited for the Media Production Manager opportunity with K-LOVE & Air1 Media Networks. This role leads a team responsible for conveying our message of hope while remaining consistent with our brand identity. You’ll flourish in this role with a high emotional intelligence and expertise in working with internal and occasionally external clients to develop content for website, internal, marketing and other mediums.

     

    The Manager of Media Production leads a Media Production team in the creation of cinematically engaging performances, stories, and ministry testimonies that delights our audience and strengthens EMF’s position as a well-known media ministry. This role is a contributing Manager of the production process. Working under the supervision of the VP of Digital Communications, you will oversee media production that exemplifies excellence in filming and editing.  You will be successful when the produced videos acquire engagement indicated by: new viewership, increased views, and cumulative viewing sessions.  Another indicator of success is the ability to maintain a team environment that fosters collaboration, skills advancement, creative abilities, and high standards of quality.

     

    This position is in Rocklin, CA and is not remote. There will be up to 25% travel. 

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 6 - 10 years of professional experience in film and/or TV industry and video production industry, preferred.
    • Minimum 6 plus years of Leadership experience, including supervision of media producers.
    • Deep working knowledge in one or more of the core areas listed below and knowledgeable across all film production related disciplines.
    • Ability to speak the “lingo” of modern practices of videography and editing.
    • Ability to meticulously refine, re-event the way the story is being conveyed cinematically, taking interest in the physical aspect of creating art.
    • Knowledge of latest techniques with a passion for filming, editing, and a vocation of media production. Experienced videographer, one who is capable and knowledgeable with the equipment currently in use.
    • Proficient in editing using Adobe Premier Pro (preferred) or Avid with experience to match the current workloads. Includes proficiency in color correction and audio mixing. 
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
    • Basic knowledge with using Photoshop.
    • Must have excellent project management and leadership skills to direct and manage the story, design, layout, and technical aspects.
    • Deep understanding of established and emerging trends in content consumption and audience habits.
    • Working knowledge of media distribution.
    • Exemplary organizational skills and the ability to direct multiple projects under tight deadlines.
    • Attention to creative and technical details, comfortable with multi-tasking, willingness to take ownership of team projects and picture the end-product during pre-production phase.
    • Ability to effectively transmit ideas, work independently, and as a team leader, present self in a highly professional manner, instilling confidence and trust within the team.
    • Possesses creativity, flexibility, and an enthusiasm with a willingness to jump in and learn new things in a fast-paced environment.
    • BS/BA Degree in Video Production, Design, Media Arts, Communications, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.

    Must pass a pre-employment reference and background screen.
