Here is some of what you'll be doing....
- Serve as full-cycle Recruiter for assigned positions, partnering with hiring managers on recruitment strategies and implementation. Ensure high service and a positive experience for both the hiring manager and candidates.
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy. Partner with hiring manager to gather hiring requirements and determine tactical approach to filling vacancy.
- Manage job requisitions – create the opening in our ATS and post on our websites and external posting sites as appropriate staying within budget.

- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Partner with our Recruitment Marketing & Branding Specialist to utilize social media for recruiting, focusing on networking and seeking to connect with passive job candidates. Screen incoming candidates for position and ministry fit.
- Manage candidates’ activity maintaining regular contact with both the candidate and the hiring manager. Track in our ATS, updating based on candidate activity and status.
- Communicate with candidate regarding status in a timely manner based on manager feedback. Ensure personalized communication tailored to the position level and potential future interest in the candidate.
Here's some experience we are seeking...
- Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources, or equivalent experience.
- PHR, SHRM-CP Certified desired.
- 3-5 years of full cycle recruiting experience in technology, professional and creative services; in-house or staffing agency.
- Experienced in conducting different types of interviews (structured, competency, behavioral etc.).

This role is VERY different from that of an Associate Pastor at a Church. Our K-LOVE & Air1 Pastors provide biblical guidance and crisis intervention for our listeners. They provide biblical phone counseling, write content for our digital media platforms, respond to prayer requests, lead prayer times for our staff, and a lot more! Our Pastors also maintain scheduled office hours, plus participate in on-call rotations.
This is aFull-Time, on-site position based out of our Franklin, TN offices.
Available schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Here's some of what you will be doing.....
Provide pastoral and biblical counsel to K-LOVE/Air1 listeners via phone on a variety of life topics from Biblical questions to crisis intervention. As appropriate pray, counsel, and direct listeners to resources in their area for long-term assistance. As part of the goal to take listener calls live, the Associate Pastor will:
- Maintain scheduled hours and participate in on-call rotation (nights and weekends), assuming the responsibilities of On-Call Pastor during assigned period.
- Continue to grow in depth of scripture and biblical knowledge applying scripture and knowledge in response to listener needs.
- Maintain accurate phone availability status.
- Serve as back up for the on-call pastor as needed.
- Make referrals to local assistance, e.g. churches, shelters, rehab facilities and counsellors.
- Regularly pray with and for our listeners. Respond verbally and in writing to prayer requests that come in on a daily basis via phone and/or e-mail.
- On an assigned basis, lead Prayer Time for EMF team members, where listener and team member needs are prayed over. (Established times are 8:45am, 1:45pm, 4:45pm)
- Write articles, devotionals, and “Question and Answers” for myK-LOVE app and other digital media platforms. Prepare Devotional Tracks for my K-LOVE app.
- Research and prepare Roundtable Discussion topics for listeners in conjunction with the Programming Department.
- Partner as appropriate, especially during pledge drive, with on air and social media staff; i.e. documenting listener stories or sharing listener call experiences.
- Lead Departmental Devotionals as requested for other departments, e.g. during Summit, summer events, etc.
- Participate in event and outreach initiatives off-campus as requested and approved.
- Contribute to an environment in which the EMF Ministry Department will grow as the K-LOVE/Air1 audience grows. Continually seek new resources and groups that will help expand the department’s mission to provide spiritual help and resources to the audience.
- Provide limited counseling services to EMF team members during times of crisis, as outlined in EMF Policies and Procedures. Provide referrals as appropriate.
- Follow the legal requirements of a mandated reporter under state law.
Here's what we're looking for...
- 6+ years of Pastoral Counseling and/or Chaplaincy experience, with extensive biblical counseling experience, being equipped to address suicide, child abuse, elder abuse, marriage and spiritual issues or any other problems associated with life and its experiences. CPE a plus.
- Experience walking people through life's challenges and bringing Biblical truths into their situation.
- Someone who is comfortable with a high volume of calls & emails. Who has excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- This is a phone & computer intensive role, so strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task in a windows environment is a must! Solid experience using Microsoft Office - (Outlook, Word, Excel). And a quick typing speed is helpful.
- Track record of continual learning and application of Biblical knowledge & counseling.
- Bilingual skills a plus!

- Provide or assist with timely and accurate sales and personal property tax filings for states assigned and maintain a tax file for each site/state as needed.
- Maintain an active relationship with key members of the Finance and Engineering Departments to obtain data needed for filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate fixed asset information necessary for property tax reporting.
- Resolve any discrepancies between asset listings and the standard asset schedule for a station or translator by requesting site inventories and explanations from the Engineering Department.

The Senor VoIP Engineer is responsible for maintaining the organization’s on premise Cisco CUCM & UCCX telephony architecture, Cisco Cloud Contact Center, and other auxiliary telephony systems. The Senior VoIP Engineer will also support projects for VoIP initiatives, planning, and configuring advanced features as requested by various business stakeholders and contact centers to ensure that the organization’s telephony requirements are met. The role collaborates with various technical teams to validate technical designs, ensure system deliverables are completed on time, and technical solutions are adequately tested before deployment.

Reporting to the Vice President of Programming Operations, the Newsroom Manager oversees day to day logistical operations of the EMF newsroom. This would include ensuring that day to day shifts are covered, newsroom equipment needs are maintained, provide direction to newsroom staff on local news breakaways as needed. During times of national crisis, the Newsroom Manager would assign anchor talent to deliver network branded newscasts. Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…
- Serve as the primary administrative resource for the Executive to include, but not limited to: development of correspondence of time sensitive and both confidential and non-confidential matters; e-mail, telephone, and voicemail communication; opening and sorting mail; ordering supplies; filing completion of expense reports and other general administrative functions as needed.
- Consistently and accurately plan, conduct, lead, and complete complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Assignments may include: develop and monitor budget activities; monitor project performance and timelines; coordinate administrative activities; act in a liaison capacity with other departments, divisions, and other organizations; evaluate progress or results and recommend major changes in procedures and process.
- Manage and maintain calendars, coordinate schedules, and handle a variety of meeting logistics, organizing, scheduling, and preparing for meetings and appointments, including conference calls, with increased ability to anticipate executive needs; and independently updating department documents as needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service. Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external inquiries, appointments, and concerns.
- Prepare Executive for meetings, bring urgent matters to the attention of the Executive, and handle emergencies and routine matters on behalf of the Executive.
- Prepare materials for Board presentations and plan Board meetings and events.
- Function as Board Members’ point of contact in the absence of the Executive.
- Independently research, review, retrieve, and analyze information (station files, legal files, accounting information, contract files) and create executive summaries, reports, and spreadsheets pertinent to projects. - Coordinate appropriate travel and develop itineraries, including for conferences and complex group and meeting arrangements.

What A Typical Day Might Look Like...
- Responsibilities include, but not limited to summarization and abstraction of leases, updating, and improving the database with all lease abstracts; renewing/obtaining extensions; negotiation of renewals; communication with landlords; research lease issues and accounting discrepancies; and evaluation and analysis of lease documentation.
- Coordinate assigned lease processes from lease execution to rent commencement, with minimal supervision.
- Work directly with Landlords to procure new leases, renewals and/or renegotiate existing leases with the direction of the VP of Signal Development and support from Leasing Supervisor.
- Responsible for communication to landlords, tenants and vendors for various tasks including negotiating lease terms, securing amendments, notice of renewals/terminations, letters of intent, acquisitions, and dispositions. Assist in proofing legal documents.
- Assist Leasing Supervisor in the creation and implementation of systems and documentation to increase efficiency of department, including spreadsheets, forms, and checklists as necessary.
- Under guidance of Leasing Supervisor, partner with Legal Team to assist in the process of EMF Acquisitions and Dispositions; this includes gathering documents and accounting set up/terminations (lease, utilities, etc.) as necessary.
- Ensure quality control; verify and substantiate data accuracy, e.g., tower site coordinates, landlord contact information, lease term information, and rent payment schedules.

We're seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our tax department. Teaming up with the Senior Tax Manager, you'll leverage your expertise in Federal, State, and Local Tax laws to ensure accurate and timely filing of all our tax compliance reports. From personal and real estate property tax filings to sales tax and Form 990, you'll handle it all with precision.

Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…
- Provide timely and accurate sales, personal and real estate property tax filings for states assigned and maintain a tax file for each site/state as needed.
- Proactively obtain and file business licenses in cities/counties with this requirement.
- Function as coordinator of the financial information from internal finance departments to outside auditors in preparation of Form 990 and other tax reports as assigned.
- Maintain an active relationship with the Fixed Asset Accountant and Engineering Department.
- Ensure timely and accurate fixed asset information necessary for property reporting.
- Resolve any discrepancies between book asset listings and the engineering inventories for a station or translator by requesting an explanation of differences from the Engineering Department.
- Maintain knowledge of each site through the review of lease and acquisition documents. Communicate with Legal, Leasing, and other departments, to obtain additional information necessary for accurate reporting.
- Determine accurate reporting jurisdictions by tying down the exact location for each site. Specifically, verify site locations in Accounting and Property Tax Management Systems with Tableau/Signal Data, assuring the sites listed are correctly reported in the appropriate tax jurisdiction and that we have captured and reported on all appropriate locations.
- Research and resolve tax issues that arise. Proactively communicate issues with Senior Tax Manager, clearly stating the issues, facts, and resolutions. Communicate issues and resolutions to other Finance Team Members as appropriate.
- Reduce taxes by applying for all available Christian or charitable exemptions, where cost/benefit warrants.
- Protest excessively assessed valuation notices by timely protests to assessors if tax savings warrants.
- Follow-up with counties on billing discrepancies and submit all bills for timely payment.
- Manage use of PTMS property tax software for preparation of all returns, and implement additional features contained within this program to improve efficiency, cost savings, and accuracy.
- Analyze and develop reporting for the finance department; including such things as property subject to tax, assessed values, exempt values and taxes paid and taxes saved.
- Implement PTMS forecast module for projections and planning.
- Plan strategies to streamline procedures thereby increasing efficiency during the tax return filing season. Review these strategies with the Senior Tax Manager and partner with implementation.
- For annual insurance renewals, prepare:
- A listing of tower sites, working with engineering.
- A listing of replacement costs for other equipment locations (broadcasting equipment).
- A listing of all buildings which are Real Property.
- Monitor EMF’s owned land and studio sites for real property taxes.
- Insure real property tax bills have been received and paid.
- Be a prime source of strategic information concerning current property values and details.
- Assist with any tax related filings and research projects as assigned.
- As needed, provide training and day-to-day instruction for temporary help in assisting with the above functions.
- Be aware of new activities within the company which may entail new tax filings and let the Senior Tax manager know of them.

Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…
- Develop professional relationships with vendors and suppliers and make contact for quotations and follow-up on outstanding purchase orders.
- Coordinate purchasing details with the vendor and requesting department including pricing revisions, order cancellations, invoice discrepancies, and delivery schedules.
- Generate and place purchase orders for Engineering Rack builds.
- Responsible for Inventory Management such as: maintain shop inventory levels, forecasting and consumption rate, work with Shop & Operations Teams to complete inventory forecasting and stay “ahead of the curve”.
- Work with Warehouse Team to ensure items are received and processed accordingly.
- Communicate back orders and delays to the requestor.
- Obtains Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for Field Technicians as required.
- Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with staff, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
- Assure accurate pricing, general ledger coding, and the timely process of purchase orders.
- Maintain vendor files and records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries.
- Analyze and recommend process improvements to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and accuracy within the purchasing system.
- Partner with department representatives in determining purchasing needs. Provide training and coaching on the utilization of purchasing systems and processes.
- Maintain professional competency, knowledge, and skills necessary to effectively lead and perform job duties by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training.
- Train internal and external partners on EMF Procurement tools and requirements.
- Cross-train with all Buyers and serve as a backup, as needed.
- Lead and complete assigned Procurement projects.

- Bachelor’s Degree from college or technical school in communications, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional project management experience within the broadcast construction or telecommunications industry with direct responsibility for procurement, project plan origination and timeline administration and project lifecycle management and reporting for complex, multi-phase construction projects.
- Extensive experience working with NetSuite Oracle – Procurement Module.
- Proficient with Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet Navigation).
- Demonstrated successful project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to demonstrate a calm presence in high pressure situations.

Guided by the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development, you'll utilize your leadership skills to implement and operationalize our game-changing strategy. - 10+ years of experience working in a Project Manager, Business Analysis, or Business Process Management role with a solid track record of project success.
- 3+ years of experience leading a team.
- Extensive knowledge of related disciplines of strategic planning, change management, risk management, project management, business analysis, business process management, and business architecture.
- Extensive experience in one or more of the following and deep working knowledge of the others:

- Sets long-term planning and vision, expands concepts and practices, and develops standards for the BizOps department and each of the Centers of Excellence of Project Management, Business Analysis, Business Process Management, Business Architecture, and Ministry Operational Process Management.
