Reporting to the Manager of Digital Content, the Web Producer is responsible for producing and publishing web pages and app content for EMF properties. This position will be immersed in our content management system (CMS), digital content development strategy, publishing through a blog tool, responding, monitoring, and synchronizing across digital properties and internal assets, so that our efforts produce the agreed upon qualitative and quantitative goals. This includes editorial review of the content for quality assurance, search engine optimization (SEO), site health, an eye for design through brand standard compliance and day-to-day administration and support. This role actively participates in the review, analysis, and mining of insights after completion of key campaigns/initiatives so that opportunities can be leveraged from our audiences. This role is successful when audience engagement grows over time, our digital conversion goals are achieved, and the digital expression of what we offer looks/sounds/feels unified across the EMF websites, apps and socials, and on approved third-party digital properties.

 

This role resides in our Franklin Studio, TN. In office and WFH hybrid model.

Responsibilities

A little More About the Job:

  • Schedule and publish content onto the Air1 and K-LOVE web pages and mobile apps consistently using efficient workflows.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with members of the Content Department, Marketing Department and Digital Team.
  • Assist Digital Team with setting up page performance.
  • Facilitates the technical and content objectives for assigned web projects. Update the web pages per edit/revision requests. Fix site issues as they arise in a timely manner, updating web pages per edit/revision requests.
  • Coordinate among cross-functional departments (Programming, Technology Group, Donor Engagement and Pastoral) to identify Web challenges, and proactively recommend and implement solutions.
  • Offer feedback and insights of how to increase audience engagement, which includes giving recommendation of content personalization and content placement.
  • Write/Edit persuasive, readable stories, articles, and headliners to promote a focused message to readers.
  • Work closely with copywriters on content refreshes, editorial changes, and search engine optimization (SEO), which results in high search engine results page (SERP) on most used search engines.
  • Maintain SEO best practices and pro-actively seek ways to improve our rankings by performing audits of websites and content. Make recommendations and obtain approvals to implement suggested findings.
  • Setup web analytic reports upon request.
  • Partner with Programming, Marketing, and other departments to maintain knowledge of target markets, industry trends, and digital best practices.

Qualifications

Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in content development, online marketing, web content development, web design, or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 2-4+ years’ experience working content creation in an enterprise WCMS such as WordPress or SiteCore.
  • Proven experience with HTML/CSS to publish web pages.
  • Proven experience with Adobe Photoshop for asset creation.
  • Project coordination/management experience; proven ability to plan, organize, lead and direct projects.
  • Proven experience implementing search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) best practices with practical application in prior jobs.
  • Proven experience of digital analytics, tracking & reporting. (Preferably Google Analytics)
