Dare to Dream is a multi-media School Development program for students across America that tackles hot topics like bullying, drugs, low self-esteem and the importance of positive friends. The assemblies feature powerful stories from athletes, artists, and influencers, and are provided free-of-cost to the schools.

 

In this role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our Dare to Dream (D2D) program nationwide, working closely with partners to make a lasting impact. Your main tasks will involve researching and addressing relevant youth issues, recruiting dynamic speakers, and negotiating contracts with contractors and speakers. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating fresh content, organizing outreach events, and exploring funding opportunities to support the program's growth.

 

 

This role is 100% on-site at our brand new, state-of-the-art HQ located in Franklin, TN.

 

We are looking for a very specific skill set and business acumen. Here's some experience we are seeking:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Management/Leadership role.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience leading a program.
  • Strong computer skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Publisher, Adobe Acrobat X Pro, etc.)
  • Experience with customer/client tracking databases, preferably CRM.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Strong attention to detail; proven organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to represent ministry and leadership staff professionally and maintain confidentiality.
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values.

Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily

  • Oversee nationwide EMF directive to expand Dare to Dream (D2D) into new regions through state and national conferences and Superintendent, Principal, School Resource Officer conferences both state-wide and national.
  • Work with new and existing nationwide partnerships to broaden and deepen D2D impact.  For example, Ambassadors of Compassion (AOC), Megan’s Law, Koinonia Foster Homes, etc.
  • Research and implantation of newest trending youth issues and interests, to sustain program relevancy.
  • Recruit and vet potential speakers for Dare to Dream assemblies.
  • Work with new and existing speakers on their presentations (coaching, training, empowering to represent EMF across the US.)
  • Expand and develop relationships with Audio/Visual contractors to have multiple teams in multiple regions of the country.
  • Initiate and negotiate contracts with new Speakers and Audio/Visual contractors.
  • Working with AOC leadership on expanding reach of the Dare to Dream program, giving referrals of interested schools, and general support.
  • Work with Alumni schools, who we have great relationships with, to introduce AOC program.
  • Attend, partner with, and perhaps sponsor, church network conferences/events in the K-LOVE/Air1 major markets, to present our program to a wide group of churches.
  • Work with church networks in the K-LOVE/Air1 markets where the assemblies take place, communicating so they understand our processes that will lead to the Dare to Dream Outreach Nights.
  • Work with our remote teams in the K-LOVE/Air1 markets to prepare for Outreach Nights.
  • Oversee preparation, planning of, and execution of four (4) quarterly Outreach Nights.
  • Collaborate with Events Team to market and raise awareness of EMF brands.
  • Oversee design and development of new content for presentations and executive reports.
  • Collaborate with video teams, merchandise teams, and design teams for vision on any current or new projects. Keeping all visual items (videos, clothing, giveaways, logos, etc.) fresh and relevant.
  • Oversee Focus Group process, including project launch, timeline for completion, guidelines and training for Focus Group leaders on site and capturing video testimonials.
  • Assist the Donor Engagement Team as needed to help secure large donor gifts in support of the program.
  • Examine and explore new streams of funding for D2D. (For example, Ambassadors of Compassion)
