Overview:
We are on a search for a Senior Cloud Engineer. You’ll play a key role in Educational Media Foundation's overall cloud implementation by working collaboratively in implementing, optimization, and maintenance of our cloud services.
This opportunity is a full-time position, in office at our headquarters in Franklin, TN.
Here's what you will be doing...
- Be seen as the cloud expert with other departments and vendors to provide advice and input.
- Analyze, administer, monitor, and maintain Cloud-Based services.
- Review, evaluate, recommend, maintain, and document platform architecture, service configuration, service availability and performance monitoring.
- Maintain cloud configurations and deployments.
- Mentor and coach other staff on optimal cloud service utilization.
- Provide cloud services that are easily accessible, flexible, reliable and efficient.
Here’s what we’re looking for…
- 3+ years' experience working in multi-cloud systems. (AWS and Azure)
- Extensive experience with full-stack system design.
- Experience with Kubernetes or other container platforms.
- Working knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and Microservices.
- Experience with DevOps methodologies.
- Leadership and mentorship are ingrained in your DNA, guiding, and empowering the team to excel in the cloud area.
- Solid experience with Linux distributions (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and its command-line interface is preferred.
- Certifications in AWS or Azure preferred.
