Join our HR team as a Recruitment Marketing & Branding Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in crafting compelling communications, fostering candidate engagement, and amplifying our employer brand to attract top talent.

 

Your role isn't just about filling positions; it's about telling our story in a way that resonates with potential candidates. You'll leverage your storytelling abilities and creative flair to showcase the unique aspects of our workplace, using multimedia, social media, and other channels to highlight employee experiences and the essence of life within our ministry.

 

Here's some of what you will be doing:

  • Highlighting key differentiators that set the ministry apart; leveraging candidate-facing communications, social media, and video to convey the corporate culture and employee experience; developing and projecting the employee value proposition; partnering with recruiting leaders and hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies to meet current and future hiring needs.
  • Shape the profile of our ideal candidate to ensure our recruiting strategies address the right audience.
  • Enrich our careers page and social media accounts with multimedia, posts, and employee testimonials.
  • Develop content that illustrates our life at work (for example, blog posts, videos, and infographics).
  • Identify and promote the top reasons why employees stay with our company to attract potential candidates.
  • Craft job descriptions through social media outlets that describe our benefits and company culture.
  • Share job ads on various online channels (job boards, social media groups, professional communities).
  • Host and participate in job fairs and other career events.
  • Building brand awareness and engaging brand followers.
  • Managing the career website.
  • Overseeing the candidate experience.
  • Managing the employer reputation.
  • Defining target candidate persona.
  • Partnering with TA to develop a marketing diversity recruiting strategy.
  • Creating and curating content.
  • Determining channels to recruit.
  • Optimizing channel and advertising spend.
  • Driving qualified applicants to open jobs.
  • Building a talent network / talent community.
  • Generating a pipeline of qualified leads and converting leads into applicants.
  • Managing recruiting events.
  • Amplifying employee ambassadors.
  • Generating employee referrals.
  • Tracking, measuring, and reporting on campaign results.
  • Managing recruitment marketing operations and technology. Ensure TA initiative’s successes as well as identifying opportunities to implement new and creative avenues.
  • Assist in identifying, building, and maintaining channels that directly funnel candidates through application workflows such as main career site.
  • Manage and act as the liaison for the intern program.

 

Here's some experience we are seeking: 

  • Bachelors’ degree in Communication, Human Resources, or Graphic Design; or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Recruitment Marketing, Employment Branding or Marketing.
  • Good storytelling abilities using your creativity to engage our audience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Competent while working with senior leaders and working in cross-functional teams.
  • Savvy with social media and content marketing.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, creative, and able to challenge assumptions while providing a high-quality work product.
  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, and analytics.
  • Flexible and comfortable with ambiguity, able to embrace change.
  • Collaborative and comfortable with a commitment to excellent service quality.
  • Demonstrated passion about the industry as well as the candidate experience.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a high customer service, fun, and performance-oriented team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and graphic design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat). Experience in Final Cut, Premier Pro, or Pro Tools a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
