As the Media Underwriting Accounts Manager, you will build and maintain relationships with new and existing media partners.
Your role involves guiding potential partners and supporting current ones, all while representing K-LOVE and Air1 professionally.
You’ll use your communication and presentation skills to generate interest and support for our Christian Concerts and Events.
You'll work closely with the Media Underwriting Team to develop, implement, and monitor a strategic prospecting system to drive our media outreach and engagement.
Here's the experience we are seeking:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a role requiring building and maintaining positive partnerships within the industry.
- Deep working knowledge in one or more of the core areas listed below and knowledgeable in media promotions related disciplines including:
- Scheduling
- Strategic Planning
- Copywriting
- Contact Management
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products. Knowledge of the use of CSM systems.
- A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
Here's some of what you will be doing:
- Recommend an appropriate on-air schedule based on the budget of the partner.
- Write effective copy that enhances on-air programming and effectively promotes the concert and stays within FCC Guidelines.
- Work closely with the Impact & Outreach Team to communicate concert details for web posting and if the promoter qualifies for contesting.
- Determine the needs of the Impact & Outreach Team and Donor Engagement Team for each show and make sure details are communicated and negotiated with the concert promoter.
- Provide outstanding customer service and accurate information regarding all facets of concert and event promotion opportunities.
- Provide excellent written communications such as written follow up contacts with colleagues, external contacts and partners; e-mail presentations, announcements and order confirmations; thank you notes and other correspondence.
- Demonstrate initiative with proactive follow up and servicing ongoing relationships; help drive decisions by providing timely response to questions, concerns and requests for information.
- Serve Partners, providing high-touch service and access; assigned category is subject to change.
- Represent K-LOVE and Air 1 professionally and with ministry-focused communications.
- Performs other duties as needed.
