Here's some of what you will be doing:
- Work closely with the Director of Site Development to plan project priorities, clarify budgets, and evaluate opportunities.
- Establish targets and measures that adequately reflect Signal Development objectives. Communicate objectives to staff, balancing team and individual responsibilities and productivity.
- Work closely with the Vice President of Operations and Engineering, Director of Engineering, Legal team, and their staff to stay informed, accurately represent the ministry, and identify problems, risks and opportunities impacting the signal development/site development/site maintenance process.
- Provide leadership in defining and communicating project scope and schedules; prioritize and establish deadlines; assist with workflow; and manage standards, quality, and acceptance rate of applications.
- Participate in applicable software implementation and development, with the aim of continuing business process and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor to ensure team members are completing their tasks in a timely manner, assisting team members to find workable solutions as required.
- Interface with vendors in an appropriate manner.
- Act as a “self-starter”, working independently and managing self, schedule, and workload to meet goals and deadlines.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams within EMF as requested.
- Track projects and work with all team leaders (Director of Site Development, VP of Signal Development, Leasing Manager II, the Legal team, and others) to identify and evaluate projects on an on-going basis.
- Demonstrates servant leadership; leading by influence, finding common ground and facilitating compromises in a positive, supporting manner; treating all team members with consideration and respect.
- Develops, implements, and modifies effective and regular communication methods, both face-to-face and electronic, to ensure all affected team members have appropriate input and information on each project.
- Builds creative collaboration and acts as a cross-functional facilitator between teams.
- Plays an active support role with the Director of Site Development, Leasing, and Engineering teams as required.
- Provides outstanding customer service. Proactively responds to inquiries and concerns; clearly, positively and cooperatively developing and communicating solutions with exceptional follow through.
Here's some experience we are seeking:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a Project Management environment, including ability to plan, organize, lead and direct medium to large-scale projects.
- Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated ability to consistently act as a servant leader.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Accruent Siterra, Microsoft Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio), and various database systems.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of ministry and non-profit environment.
- Strong organizational skills; strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently; establishing and meeting performance/ministry goals.
- Ability to multi-task and keep multiple projects moving forward with accuracy and excellence.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage team member productivity while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
- Ability to be versatile and flexible. Regularly adapts to change while maintaining a positive attitude and high productivity.
- Demonstrated ability to represent ministry and leadership professionally and maintain confidentiality.
- A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
