Reporting to the Engineering Technical Manager, you’ll facilitate work orders and ensure timely follow-up, all while championing our mission and values. Here's some of what you will be doing:
- Prepare and manage various written correspondence with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Support and respond to listeners, demonstrating the ability to listen well, show empathy, and effectively address the inquiry using appropriate conversational communication.
- Acknowledge and craft responses to listener emails while providing timely updates as needed by investigating network availability, using various indicators, and by obtaining updates from various team members.
- Generate and update work orders for the Engineering department.
- Assist with day-to-day administration and operational duties related to various projects and maintenance.
- Create Station Binders for new acquisitions.
- Generate work orders for new or replacement equipment.
- Coordinate and follow-through on shipping items to Field and Contract Engineers as required.
- Create work orders for Purchase Order requests to track maintenance projects for Field Engineering.
- Site specific database updates for stations that include contacts and site access information.
- Solve problems using ministry guidelines, creative solutions, and discernment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Here's some experience we are seeking:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience working in a customer service environment desired.
- English writing experience and skill required, including a demonstrable and excellent grasp of English grammar, spelling, and idioms. Additional language skills are welcome!
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), search engines, and databases desired.
- Minimum keyboard speed of 45 WPM with high accuracy.
- Experience working in a technical and/or engineering environment a plus.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude, ability to understand technical language, reports, and correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple, simultaneous projects.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and use related software programs/applications.
- Strong attention to detail, proven organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, problem solve and contribute to the team.
