Are you passionate about faith, community, and digital content? Do you want to make a real difference in how our ministry communicates, shares, and builds relationships? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our Pastoral Care team as an intern. This role is perfect for someone eager to dive deep into the intersection of ministry, technology, and content management, all while gaining valuable experience in a growing ministry environment.
As a Pastoral Care Intern, you will play a pivotal role in helping us launch and refine our new Verse of the Day (VOTD) content management portal. This project, designed to streamline and enhance the way we deliver spiritual content, will be a key resource for our team and the wider ministry. You’ll get hands-on experience collecting, tagging, and organizing the VOTD assets (like images, scripture, and multimedia), ensuring they’re properly set up for long-term use. This will be a significant project to contribute to, and you'll have the opportunity to present it to others at the end of your internship, showcasing your work and how it will impact our ministry and those we serve.
Beyond the VOTD portal, you will collaborate closely with our Spiritual Engagement Content Manager, helping review and organize content from our ministry partners. This includes evaluating and tagging new resources, ensuring that they align with our vision and values.
The projects you will work on aren’t just tasks—they're essential components of a larger vision to better serve our ministry and connect people. As part of your internship, you’ll dive into understanding how Christian communities, like those in KLOVE, are meeting the unique needs of local believers, and how these partnerships can be more effective. You’ll also have the chance to create a Capstone Project for your internship, where you’ll introduce the VOTD portal (or a project of your choosing) to the wider ministry team, demonstrating how the new system will streamline content sharing and support the pastoral care needs of the ministry.
This is a hands-on, dynamic internship that allows you to engage with digital media, ministry leadership, and the heart of pastoral care. You’ll gain practical skills in content management, project planning, and community engagement—skills that will serve you in any career path, especially if you’re passionate about ministry, outreach, or digital content creation.
If you're ready to gain impactful experience, be part of a collaborative team, and contribute to a project that will influence countless lives, we would love to hear from you. This internship offers the opportunity to grow spiritually, professionally, and personally while making a lasting impact on the work of the ministry. Ready to make a difference? Apply today!
