Love Audio Production but not quite sure where you fit into the world of News Programming? 

As a News Intern, you will explore what it's like to produce news, traffic and public affairs segments, and partner with our Community Engagement team. This will be a fast-paced, high-energy and life-changing internship. 

We want to pull the curtain back and give you a look at what really goes on at a successful, national, broadcasting organization. Are you up for the challenge?

Here's qualifications we are seeking:

• Monitoring local/national news events such as emergency evacuations and associated shelter information and road closures, major interstate closures, major weather events, wildfires, active shooter situations and other events of major importance
• Long-form storytelling and audio editing
• Posting news stories of national importance to news page at KLOVE.com
• Other duties as assigned by the newsroom manager.
• The ability to be creative, resourceful & media savvy, will serve you well.
• Commitment to the culture, mission and values of K-LOVE and Air1.
• Be able to work on site in Franklin, TN.

Throughout the course of this internship, you’ll learn from our team of leaders, gaining knowledge of the media industry and business acumen to better prepare you for the business world which lies ahead of you.
