Overview

Reporting to the Audience Acquisition Manager, the Social Media Coordinator is responsible for assisting with content marketing and advertising through social media and building online communities by nurturing existing audiences and developing new ones. The primary goal is to further the missions of Air1, AccessMore, K-LOVE, Found Collective and other brands by helping to create, produce and approve branded and campaign content for digital communities.

 

This is a hybrid position located in Franklin, Tennessee.

 

Here's some of what you will be doing:

  •  
  • Responsible for suggesting social media copy, scheduling posts and assisting with the creation of photos, videos, live video and stories.
  • Monitor, recommend and place paid social media campaigns.
  • Assist with the planning, management and execution of social media campaigns, ensuring close alignment with Air1, AccessMore, K-LOVE, Found Collective and other brands. 
  • Monitor the health of all ministry social media accounts and maintain their security.
  • Assist with and approve social media content created by contractors.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on analytics to inform future content and social media campaigns.
  • Plan and execute tactics to achieve community growth goals on social media by developing and recommending initiatives and/or programs to engage a wide range of audiences (e.g., groups on Facebook).
  • Research, curate and create thought-provoking content and messages to share with community members that strengthens not only our brands, but also the listeners’ faith in God in accordance with K-LOVE’s mission and core values.
  • Manage and develop digital relationships through correspondence, listening and engaging with listeners and social media influencers.
  • Monitor Air1, AccessMore, K-LOVE, Found Collective and other brand websites, ministry partners and artist pages to find relevant content to be shared on social media channels.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining flexibility, creativity and control over work projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Here's some experience we are seeking: 

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in social media management, radio, marketing or public/media relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, communications or combination of education/training with relevant experience required.
  • Experience working with and managing brand/company social media profiles. (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok).
  • Possess hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Solid understanding of creating photo and video content with Photoshop, video editing software (e.g. Premiere) and mobile apps.
  • Creative, resourceful and possess initiative with a solid sense of social media and marketing communication. Keen sense of judgment regarding organization, presentation and linking social media content.
  • Solid understanding of copywriting, formatting and distributing content for the web and social media. Must be able to provide social media and copywriting samples.
  • Self-managed and work independently.
  • Have a passion for social media and the content our audiences care about.
  • Strong attention to detail, comfortable with multitasking and solid organization skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to present self professionally.
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values.
