Here's some of what you will be doing:

  • Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive business development strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth, broaden market reach, and support the K-LOVE’s long-term mission.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies that streamline operations, improve efficiencies, and deliver a competitive advantage in fast-evolving markets.
  • Translate strategic insights into prioritized initiatives, guiding resource allocations, sequencing, and measurable success criteria.
  • Monitor progress against strategic objectives, adjusting plans in real time to ensure agility, accountability, and sustained impact.
  • Direct complex, high-impact projects with high pressure accelerated timelines, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, stakeholder expectations, and operational capacity.
  • Champion change management initiatives that build enterprise readiness, minimize disruption, and ensure effective adoption of new systems, processes, and business models.
  • Lead organizational transformation as a change agent, modeling adaptability and resilience while engaging key stakeholders in delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, empowering Team Members to test new ideas, share learning, and improve performance through collaborative feedback loops.
  • Demonstrate strategic adaptability and forward-thinking execution, applying critical thinking in undefine environments, advancing initiatives where limited precedent or guidance exists.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
  • Recruit and develop Team Members by evaluating performance, providing coaching, training and mentoring opportunities to maximize staff performance and professional growth.
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Provide strategic leadership, mentoring and developing a highly competent and responsive Business Development team, ensuring alignment of goals and Ministry initiatives with K-LOVE’s mission.
  • Foster a learning environment where training, risk management, operational best practices, and biblical values go hand in hand with creative and entrepreneurial solution that best fulfill the Ministry’s mission.
  • Provide functional leadership to Business Development departments.
  • Demonstrate the qualities of a life-time learner in the disciplines relevant to effectively lead and perform job duties by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training.
  • Actively participate and contribute to Ministry wide initiatives and projects like Pledge Drives, Daily Prayer (one time per day), All Team Meetings, All Team Celebrations - like our annual banquet, Food and Fun Day, and Summits, Service Projects and others as announced. These initiatives, and others, are key components of the Ministry, our culture and more fun to do together!
  • Support and contribute to Ministry endeavors by following employment policies and practices and supporting a safe and healthy work environment. Specifically, follow K-LOVE’s Injury Prevention and Safety program, support and maintain safety standards, and participate in safety training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Here's some experience we are seeking: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic planning, or enterprise growth, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience as a CEO, COO, or in a senior leadership role with a start-up or high-growth environment.
  • Strong background in the media industry is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage and inspire high-performing teams, driving accountability, engagement, and innovation.
  • Proactively identifies and embraces growth opportunities, approaching challenges with curiosity, initiative, fostering alignment and shared ownership of goals.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to provide strategic adaptability, to think critically and operate effectively in evolving or undefined environments, confidently charting a course where there is little precedent or guidance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet navigation).
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/Ministry relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values.
