We're looking for a dynamic Ministry Technical Specialist to build and maintain our server racks and develop innovative software solutions. Here's some of what you will be doing:

  • Rack Building and Maintenance: Design, assemble, and maintain server racks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Software Programming: Develop, test, and implement software solutions tailored to the ministry's needs.
  • System Integration: Integrate various software and hardware components to create a cohesive and efficient technical environment.
  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for staff and volunteers.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of technical processes, configurations, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other ministry departments to understand their technical needs and provide solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Here's some experience we are seeking: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in rack building and software programming.
  • Skills: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), knowledge of server hardware, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the ministry's mission through technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use related software programs/applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and contribute to the team.
