Overview

Reports to the AccessMore Lead Producer, the Associate Producer is responsible for supporting the development, production, and delivery of podcast episodes across the AccessMore network. This role ensures smooth workflows between A&R, production, and post-production teams while contributing logistically and creatively to the success of each show.

 

  • Proactively influence our culture by demonstrating a positive, energetic influence throughout the Ministry. Consistently represent the Ministry with integrity through actions, words, and behavior that supports and aligns with our Mission and Values.
  • Demonstrate the qualities of a life-time learner in the disciplines relevant to effectively perform job duties by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training.
  • Actively participate and contribute to Ministry-wide initiatives and projects like Gratitude Fest, Daily Prayer (one time per day), All Team Meetings, All Team Celebrations - like our Spring Jam, Team Member Celebration Service, and Summits (Remote Teams), Service Projects and others as announced. These initiatives, and others, are key components of the Ministry, our culture and more fun to do together!
  • Support and contribute to Ministry endeavors by following employment policies and practices and supporting a safe and healthy work environment. Specifically, follow K-LOVE’s Injury Prevention and Safety program, support and maintain safety standards, and participate in safety training.

 

 

  • Assist in planning and executing podcast recordings, both remote and in-studio
  • Manage production calendars, recording schedules, and talent bookings
  • Contribute to episode research, scripting, and interview preparation
  • Help shape episode narratives and segment structures in partnership with the Producer
  • Track and incorporate editorial feedback into scripts and edits
  • Support hosts, guests, and production crew during tapings
  • Coordinate file delivery between editors, sound designers, and publishers
  • Review audio edits for quality control and editorial accuracy
  • Ensure all episodes meet deadlines and comply with network standards
  • Input and occasionally help draft episode titles, descriptions, and show notes
  • Assist in uploading content to podcast platforms and content management systems
  • Maintain databases of podcast contacts, guest releases, transcripts, and licensing clearances
  • Communicate effectively across internal teams to maintain production alignment
  • Maintain legal standards for clearances and compliance across podcast content
  • Track production expenses, invoices, and contractor paperwork
  • Maintain organized file systems and backups for all episodes and deliverables
  • Support the Producer in collaborating with marketing, social media, and design teams on promotional assets
  • Assist with audience engagement initiatives or live event planning as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Associate’s degree in communications, media, marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

 

 

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in audio production, journalism, or digital media
  • Working knowledge of podcasting tools and workflows, including scripting, editing, and publishing
  • Proficiency with audio editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition)
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and episode publishing tools (e.g., Megaphone, Libsyn)
  • Strong writing, research, and story development skills
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Experience with recording equipment or guest booking (preferred)
  • Understanding of biblical principles in content development (a plus)
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment or independently in fast-paced environment often with minimal supervision, sometimes under tight deadlines, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately while managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/Ministry relationships.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values.

 

  • Must pass a pre-employment reference screen and background check.
