This is an onsite role in Franklin, TN.
Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…
- Coordinate scheduling of Closer Look local public affairs programming with the Traffic department.
- Assist in managing recorded audio files, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility for editing and broadcast.
- Log air dates, content details, and timing of weekly public affairs programming to support FCC compliance.
- Maintain master lists and databases to reflect current station counts and program submissions.
- Manage guest outreach and communication for public affairs segments in collaboration with Regional Public Affairs Managers.
- Prepare research and show materials to support content development for Closer Look national programs.
- Assist with basic audio editing and quality control of broadcasts.
- Generate reports on public affairs programming activities in view of compliance metrics.
- Participate in departmental meetings, sharing observations and supporting team initiatives.
- Suggest new software, systems, or workflows to continually improve operations.
- Support the Director in capturing and organizing feedback, process improvement, and compliance innovations.
- Coordinate meetings, including agendas and follow-ups, in support of the Director and Regional Public Affairs Managers.
- Update internal calendars with travel, visit dates, and FCC deadlines as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- AA Degree, or combination of education/training with relevant broadcasting experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in administrative/project support capacity.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with systems such as Aquira, Adobe Audition, Service Now and SharePoint a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities with professionalism and grace.
- Demonstrates adaptability, initiative, and sound judgment in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Maintains confidentiality, professionalism, and alignment with ministry values in all internal and external interactions.
