**This role is a fully on-site position, based at our headquarters in Franklin, TN.**

 

Here's some of what you will be doing:

  • Draft, review, and manage a variety of written correspondence with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring clear communication and attention to detail across all formats.
  • Respond to inquiries with empathy and clarity via phone and email, gathering necessary updates from team members and system indicators to provide timely and informative follow-ups.
  • Generate, assign, and update work orders in support of Engineering, equipment requests, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide general administrative support for department projects, procurement requests, and day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate the packaging and shipment of materials to Field and Contract Engineers, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
  • Create and maintain organizational resources including Station Binders, Legal Binders, Signal Photo folders, and FIN folders for acquisitions and site updates.
  • Assist in preparing and tracking FCC filings and E-Waste processing documentation.
  • Perform data updates for station-specific databases, including contact details, access information, and general site notes.
  • Submit and track Purchase Order (PO) requests for equipment (Parts Only or On-Site), with guidance from team members.
  • Conduct swap evaluations for annual inspections with team oversight and support data entry in related tracking systems.
  • Support ETRS Form 1 verification processes and basic FCC filing procedures.
  • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting, tracking, and documentation.
  • Create and manage requests through the warehouse and help desk ticketing systems, demonstrating a base understanding of ServiceNow and associated Knowledge Base Articles.
  • Answer internal extension x2221, respond to basic inquiries, and relay more complex requests to the appropriate team members.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Here's some experience we are seeking: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a customer service environment desired.
  • English writing experience and skill required, including a demonstrable and excellent grasp of English grammar, spelling, and idioms. Additional language skills are welcome!
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), search engines, and databases desired.
  • Minimum keyboard speed of 45 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Experience working in a technical and/or engineering environment a plus.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude, ability to understand technical language, reports, and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use related software programs/applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve and contribute to the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
