As a Senior Technical Business Analyst within our Business Software Solutions department, you’ll play a key role in shaping enterprise-grade solutions that power our ministry’s mission. From leading complex discovery efforts to crafting AI-ready documentation and guiding architectural decisions, this role blends technical insight with visionary consulting. You’ll collaborate across platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, and Azure—driving clarity, speed, and excellence in custom development.
Here's some of what you will be doing:
- Architecture Awareness & Solution Leadership
- Lead the evaluation of architectural options, recommending integration patterns based on system design, scalability, and business requirements
- Collaborate with developers and architects to design custom APIs, webhooks, and pipelines
- Document architectural decisions, including rationale for real-time vs. scheduled processing
- Assess the impact of architecture on latency, security, and data consistency
- Ensure adherence to technical standards and ministry-aligned priorities
- Strategic Consulting & Analysis
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on the feasibility and design of custom solutions
- Drive improvement in intake and analysis processes for solution development
- Lead cross-functional discovery efforts and strategic planning discussions
- Oversee SOW development for complex or multi-platform initiatives
- Ensure documentation reflects business value, level of effort, and risk mitigation
- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain best-practice templates and frameworks for business analysis
- Evaluate and recommend tools for documentation, collaboration, and automation
- Apply Lean Six Sigma or similar methods to streamline workflows and eliminate waste
- Support ministry-wide efforts to increase speed, quality, and transparency in software development
- Mentorship & Team Development
- Provide coaching and technical mentorship to TBAs I and II
- Lead retrospectives and process improvement sessions across departments
- Model professional growth and share insights from certifications and advanced training
Here's some experience we are seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to lead solution design across multiple platforms and teams
- Advanced skill in producing structured, machine-readable Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Proven expertise in enterprise systems architecture and integration strategy
- Experience applying frameworks such as Lean Six Sigma to drive process improvement
- Strong ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders on complex initiatives
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Azure, and AI-based documentation platforms
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, structured documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a record of mentoring and influencing cross-functional teams
- Strategic thinker with capacity to align technical solutions with ministry goals
- Passion for the ministry’s mission, integrating faith and professional excellence
- A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality. Needs to be seen as a team player.
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn and actively incorporate feedback to improve performance and collaboration
