*This is full-time, TEMPORARY position that will work fully on-site at our headquarters in Franklin, TN.*

 

Here's some of what you will be doing:

  • Assist Signal Expansion, Site Development, and Engineering Operations teams in advancing construction projects from planning through on-site build and licensing.
  • Communicate with landlords and zoning agencies to collect, review, and submit necessary documentation for site development projects.
  • Secure zoning clearance and building permits directly or by coordinating third-party Zoning and Permitting (Z&P) firms.
  • Manage relationships with landlords to obtain critical information for signal construction or modification, applying discretion and professional judgment.
  • Oversee and support the build process by leveraging various computer systems and project tools.
  • Independently manage concurrent construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Utilize internal project management systems and tools to maintain accurate project files and status updates.
  • Track and process project documentation, liaising with contractors, engineers, and external agencies.
  • Communicate project requirements and updates with internal and contract engineers across various regions.
  • Request and evaluate vendor quotes for services, equipment, and labor, making recommendations based on professional assessment and budget alignment.
  • Review and validate project plans, ensuring accuracy and coordinating equipment procurement and construction resources.
  • Conduct plan-check reviews and provide compliance feedback on contractor bids per K-LOVE and FCC requirements.
  • Assess site readiness, develop build schedules, and coordinate utility installations including electrical, gas, or internet.

Here's some experience we are seeking: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from college or technical school in electronics, communication or related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • SBE Certification required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional project management experience within the broadcast construction or telecommunication industry.
  • Possess experience with direct responsibility for procurement, project plan origination, timeline administration, and project lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated successful project management skills and reporting for complex, multi-phase construction projects.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-phase construction projects concurrently.
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering equipment used in broadcast builds, including antennas, filters, coax, combiners, and transmitters.
  • Experience with Project Management Software is required (MS Project or Siterra).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet Navigation).
