  Our Pittsburgh Events Team is responsible for promoting the ministry within the area.  But they do so much more than represent the ministry at concerts & events.  Majority of the work they do Mon - Fri, takes place  "behind-the-scenes", but is absolutely necessary if we are to be successful in front of an audience.  Responsibilities like researching possible events, calling on potential partners, winner communication & coordination, scheduling staff & volunteers for events, etc.    And then there's the actual "events" work... transporting all the equipment to the event setting it up & breaking it down afterwards.  Coordinating booth volunteers, talking to people about the ministry, etc.  It's pretty physical & often involves evenings & weekends.   As you can see, it's a pretty big job that is more complex than people realize.  But it can also be so rewarding.  Knowing that you're playing a part in bringing people closer to Jesus is so amazing.   If you think you have what it takes, read on to see what we're looking for in our ideal candidate!   Some of what you will be doing: - 60% of your time will be spent in an administrative capacity vs 40% events, subject to change due to office strategy and seasons. - Successfully execute administrative functions, winner communication, internal processes, prizing, and on-air content.  - Develop and build relationships within the community that result in promotional partnerships that align with and grow our target market. - Participate in and evaluate local promotional events. Pro-actively stay informed of and participate in, community, church, and major city events. Strategically and creatively evaluate and plan participation for the strongest impact. - Pro-actively suggest and create new and innovative ways to reach potential listeners and spotlight K-LOVE and Air 1. Examples of these would be event sponsorships,  Christian concerts, community events, awareness walks/runs and local sporting events.  - Work with local promoters and ministries to promote events that are consistent with the format and audience for K-LOVE and Air 1. Look for ways to promote EMF stations at these events through displays, stage presence, and other creative options. - Partner with Brand Managers ensuring consistency and integrity of brand communication and events that may have a national tie-in and/or involve national organizations (record companies, large ministries), etc. - Help to schedule and staff all EMF booth activities. Develop a team of approved volunteers to partner in positively representing K-LOVE and Air 1 and assisting you with promotional activities at appropriate events and concerts. Ensure logistics of events are set up in terms of booth displays, bins of promotional items, ministry resources and enter to win opportunities. - Collaborate with other EMF Regional Departments like Donor Engagement (DE).  When appropriate, share potential promotional partner/donor information including details about discussions  and relationships. When called upon, participate in DE events serving as local representation for DE in greeting and “caring for” major and principal donors at events such as concerts. - Update “Concert/Event” page on EMF Websites. Educate listeners on how to enter the data directly onto the K-LOVE and/or Air 1 websites. - Requires some local travel in order to participate in local events.   Background and experience we're looking for: - Experience working in an office, doing administrative and social media work. - Understanding of radio promotional and marketing techniques. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships. - Strong communication and presentation skills; confident, self-managed, eager, transparent.  - Solid computer skills - MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), ability to learn new systems quickly. - High level of attention to detail. - And most importantly, you need to have a sincere passion & enthusiasm for the ministry of K-LOVE & Air1 and "get" what we are all about. - BS/BA degree (or in progress) in marketing, broadcasting, mass communications, public relations, or equivalent. - Bilingual a plus! Our Listener Services Associates serve as an extension of what is happening on-air.  They do this, one listener at a time, through every caller that they talk to, email that they respond to & social media post or response that they write.   Their goal is to enhance the listener experience by offering accurate and timely responses. They strive to deliver one-touch service and by responding, solving and assisting listeners without having to re-direct them. The role of supporting and responding to listeners puts this team in a front line role, making it important to listen well, show empathy, effectively address the inquiry and use conversational communication.   They problem solve using ministry guidelines while balancing this with creative service solutions, improvisation and discernment.  This is a high energy, fast-paced, fast-changing position.  Being successful in this role will be based on your understanding of who we are, knowledge of our audience and passion for our mission, values and beliefs.    The shift hours are:  Monday 5-10pm, Sat 2-10pm & Sun 2-10pm. Hourly rate is:      $13.26/hr.

These Lifestyle Events, require planning and execution by someone with a strong acumen for live events, preferably with experience from theaters and more intimate gatherings to full scale arena events. You’ll need to balance a creative side but with a passion for data as you’ll use analytics to develop strategy to help a team of event partners create amazing live events that also bring high impact.  As you can imagine, being able to juggle multiple moving parts at one time is critical for success, nothing can fall through the cracks.    Here's some of what you will be doing: - Network and build relationships with artist management, promoters and other potential clients. - Respond to all unsolicited requests for potential live event partnerships. - Oversee the marketing of events in conjunction with EMF VP of Marketing and VP of Radio utilizing internal and external assets. - Oversee the implementation of activating EMF marketing initiatives and visual branding at live events. - Maintain a 3-year calendar of EMF live events. - Travel as needed to cover strategic live events and seek new opportunities . - Present new event opportunities for consideration to the Chief Partnership Officer concentrating in verticals where EMF is not yet participating (such as women's conference, men’s event, festivals and others). - Explore and develop opportunities and relationships with potential outside partners to help strategically grow live event exposure in corresponding television and live stream properties. - Partner with Donor engagement in creating high impact donor events at existing upcoming events including Market and Audience analysis to create unique experiences for our donor audience. - Create 1-3-year annual revenue goals for the division with corresponding strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.  - Provide leadership for the Partnership Coordinator, assess team performance against annual goals and plans. Ensure tools and systems are in place to provide critical operational and project information to Chief Partnership Officer and others while making actionable recommendations on both strategic goals and operational constraints. - Partner with Marketing, to recommend appropriate Radio, Digital and Social run of schedules to meet the needs of the Event. - Assist with presenting effective copy for Radio, Digital and Social schedules effectively maintaining our Brand, while promoting the event. - Maintain fiscal responsibility including presentation of Budgets to Chief Partnership Officer ahead of all Tours and Events. Provide follow through maintaining, budgets to final settlements.  - Demonstrate initiative with proactive follow up and servicing ongoing relationships; help drive decisions by providing timely response to questions, concerns and requests for information. - Collaborate with the Chief Partnership Officer in customizing marketing materials, collateral, presentations; budget and strategic market planning and goals; present plans to maximize inventory utilization and revenue generation. We're looking for the following experience: - Years of experience working in Event Management, from small (500) to large venues (10K+); concerts, theatres, churches, conferences, sports. Our Donor Engagement team impacts millions of people in all cities across the country through their efforts in building meaningful and authentic relationships with our valued Major Donors. Our Major Donors invest in strategic ministry priorities such as expansion projects, acquisitions, pledge drive success campaigns and impactful programs.    Imagine being part of a team that directly changes lives! You will see it in the work you do daily!   How will you be contributing? Serve as the primary major gift representative to a portfolio of 75-100 of the organization’s major gift donors. Generate a minimum of $3M in charitable gift contributions including financial and planned gifts to advance EMF ministries. Develop appropriate cultivation strategies for each of your assigned portfolio donors. Move donors to solicitation and closure in an appropriate and timely fashion. Our portfolios are established; no solicitation required. Provide active stewardship to those donors, keeping them apprised of ministry activities, the impact of their gifts, and opportunities to engage in ministry activities to more fully engage those donors in the ministry of EMF and spreading the word and love of Christ.   This is not a 40 hour a week/8-5 job, nor is it just a job. You will be called into this ministry through thoughtful prayer and guidance by the Holy Spirit. Because you are building relationships with people, you will find yourself often connecting in the evening/weekends or early mornings. This is a remote position, working from home with approximately 25% travel. This is not a job, but a lifestyle!   This is a Senior level position.
