The Engagement Services Specialist works directly with the Engagement Operations Manager to support the operations and organization of the Engagement Team. You will be assisting with departmental communications, scheduling, and keeping team, department, and the Chief Engagement Officer’s calendars. This role will organize meetings for the Engagement Team and Engagement Leadership Team and serve as the point of contact for members of the Engagement Team who have questions or need information from other areas of the EMF ministry.  This position will be on-site at our Franklin office.  Required Travel: 1-2 times per year    Here's What You Will Be Doing... - Provide administrative support for the Chief Engagement Officer and the Engagement Operations Manager including but not limited to correspondence of both confidential and non-confidential matters, photocopying and faxing, proofreading, e-mail, and voice mail communication, opening and sorting mail, assistance with monthly expense reports, internet research, and other general administrative functions as needed; - Schedule, organize, and keep the calendar of the Chief Engagement Officer. - Work with the Engagement Operations Manager to facilitate meetings of the Engagement Team including schedule flights, hotel, rental cars, and coordinate meeting locations and reservations; proactively confirm travel itineraries as well as accommodations. - Establish, organize, and maintain electronic files for the Engagement Team and create efficient and logical systems for retrieval and storage. - Serve as the point of contact for members of the Engagement Team who have questions, need help, or need information about engaging other members of the EMF team in their work. - Collaborate with EMF team members/departments as necessary. - Adhere to guidelines and administrative procedures including submitting expense reimbursements, invoices, and contact report.     Our Finance department has multiple openings on our tax team for a Tax Analyst I orII. These positions partners with our Sr. Tax Manager and other Tax team members to utilize their knowledge of Federal, State and Local Tax laws to assist in the accurate and timely preparation and filing of a variety of corporate and not-for-profit tax and compliance filings including, but not limited to, personal and real estate property taxes, sales taxes, Form 990 . These positions are responsible for pro-actively researching and resolving basic tax issues, troubleshooting valuation issues with local government agencies, and implementing best practices to ensure compliance and a reduction in costs and operational consequences.   This role will reside in our Franklin, TN, offices and will have flexibility for a couple work-from-home days.   On a day to day basis you will: - Provide or assist with timely and accurate sales and personal property tax filings for states assigned and maintain a tax file for each site/state as needed. - Pro-actively obtain and file business licenses in cities/counties with this requirement. - Maintain an active relationship with key members of the Finance and Engineering Departments to obtain data needed for filings. - Ensure timely and accurate fixed asset information necessary for property tax reporting. - Resolve any discrepancies between asset listings and the standard asset schedule for a station or translator by requesting site inventories and explanations from the Engineering Department. - Maintain knowledge of each site through the review of lease and acquisition documents. - Determine accurate reporting jurisdictions by tying down the exact location for each site. Specifically, verify site locations in Accounting and Property Tax Management Systems with leasing databases, assuring the sites listed are correctly, reported in the appropriate tax jurisdiction and that we have captured and reported on all appropriate locations. - Research and resolve tax issues that arise. Pro-actively communicate issues with Sr. Tax Manager and senior tax team  members.  Background and qualifications needed: - Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance from a college or university or equivalent experience. - Minimum 1-5 years of experience working in tax analysis and reporting, ideally in a multi-state environment. - Knowledge and proficiency with Federal, State, and Local tax laws and regulations. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships. - Experiences in the preparation and timely filing of sales and/or personal and real property tax returns. - Solid written and verbal communication skills. - Track record of meeting deadlines in a efficient and effective manner.  - Strong computer skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other analytic tools. Knowledge of MapInfo, Google Earth Pro, and/or RadioSoft are a plus. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and establish and meet performance/ministry goals. - Exhibits versatility and flexibility. Have you ever wanted to use your experience within the Promotions/Events field to impact lives?  In this role, you can do just that!  K-LOVE and Air1 inspires & encourages our listeners to have a closer relationship with Christ.  YOU can play a part in making that happen!   As Promotions Manager, you'll be responsible for increasing brand awareness of the K-LOVE and Air1 brands within the Charlotte market. You will lead an office in partnership with the Promotions Coordinator to create strong relationships within your community; expose the radio station to people who have never heard K-LOVE and Air1; and deepen listener’s experience through contesting, ministry outreach, and events within three hours of the local office. Success will be measured by local community partnerships, web site visits, social media participation, and listener attendance and engagement at events.    Here's some of what you will be doing as Promotions Manager of our Charlotte team: - Responsible for strategic listener building efforts, listeners experience and impact in the community through live events, promotional efforts, and strong community relationships. - Provide leadership and day-to-day management for the Promotions Coordinator. Recruit, train, mentor, coach and develop Coordinator; conduct performance evaluations. - Lead the office in promotional strategies, day to day administrative tasks and exceeding market goals. - Ensure brand consistency and standard operational procedures in the office. - Develop and build relationships within the community that result in promotional partnerships that align with/grow target market. - Develop and maintain an ongoing calendar of events and on-air content that helps to increase listenership, deepen listener experience with K-LOVE and Air1, and increase community impact, meeting local and national goals. - Seek out, participate in, and evaluate local promotional events. Schedule and staff all events, ensuring consistency and excellence in “our message” and brand presentation. - Pro-actively suggest and create innovative ways to reach potential listeners and spotlight the K-LOVE and Air1 heart, brand and frequency and increase traffic to our website. - Work with local promoters and ministries to promote events that are consistent with the format and audience for K-LOVE and Air 1. Promote EMF stations at these events through displays, stage presence, and other creative options. - Develop a team of approved volunteers to partner and positively represent K-LOVE and Air1 and to assist with promotional activities at events and concerts. Here's some experience and background we are looking for: - Bachelors’ Degree in marketing, communications or a combination of education/training with relevant experience. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, promotions, brand management, or equivalent. - Strong organizational and administrative skills. - Prior radio industry experience a plus. - Prior experience in a leadership/supervisory role with direct reports a must. (birthday cards, holiday cards, etc.) - Communicate and coordinate with EMF leadership on event attendance and responsibilities. - Process internal orders for WTA books, movies, etc. and maintain/manage donor swag and swag shopping portal. - During events, the Engagement Event Manager will serve a “behind the scenes” role, orchestrating a smooth sequence of events, delivery of services, and technical support. The role will always be thinking 5 steps ahead to ensure details are well executed. - Facilitate post-event discussions with applicable members of the team focused on factors for success, problems, or hurdles related to events with a focus on rating the event’s effectiveness in achieving stated goals. In your first year as our Donor Advisor, you have successfully raised 900K dollars by building lasting relationships with our top line donors….this is what making an impact, while advancing your career is all about…Your hard efforts over those 12 months allowed K-LOVE to purchase a tower in the most remote part of Puerto Rico where Christians can now be inspired, encouraged and loved. That's the job, that's the reward and that's the impact!!   You will serve as the primary Donor Advisor to a portfolio of 200 of EMF’s major gift donors. This portfolio is primarily donors who are not engaged with us and therefore, will be COLD calls. You MUST be tenacious, fearless, a self-starter and motivated. You will generate a minimum of $800K-1M in charitable gift contributions including financial and planned gifts to advance EMF ministries.   You will develop appropriate cultivation strategies for each of your assigned portfolio donors. Move donors to solicitation and closure in an appropriate and timely fashion. Provide active stewardship to those donors, keeping them apprised of ministry activities, the impact of their gifts, and opportunities to engage in ministry activities to engage those donors more fully in the ministry of EMF and spreading the word and love of Christ.   This is not a 40 hour a week/8-5 job, nor is it just a job. You will be called into this ministry through thoughtful prayer and guidance by the Holy Spirit. Because you are building relationships with people, you will find yourself often connecting in the evening/weekends or early mornings. This is a remote position, working from home with approximately 25% travel. This is not a job, but a lifestyle!    What will I be doing, you may ask. - Participate in each step of the donor pipeline including identification; qualification through research; cultivation; briefing; request for support; and prompt follow-up, stewardship, and recognition. - Develop individual donor strategies to renew and upgrade donor gifts. - Move donors to solicitation and closure in an appropriate and timely fashion. - Collaborate with Donor Engagement and Program teams to enhance donor relationships and create greater fundraising and outreach possibilities. - Participate in departmental portfolio review process and partners in maintaining an organized system for donor stewardship by updating constituent records, as appropriate. - Periodically participate in regional and national events that involved assigned portfolio donors. - Ensure all calls, events, stewardship contacts, and information gathered in those activities are recorded in the donor’s data record. - Participate actively in Staff Meetings, Summits, and Retreats.   Our EMF Project Specialist works directly with Pastoral leadership to provide project support for various spiritual engagement and digital media projects. These projects help expand the Pastoral Department’s digital properties through mobile apps, websites, and content creation. This role works collaboratively with the pastoral team while also interacting with and supporting other departments.   Responsibilities include... - Work closely with Sr. Pastor/Vice President of Pastoral Care on spiritual engagement projects, including brainstorming, conceptualizing, vision-sharing, planning, and executing. - Assist with expanding Pastoral Care digital properties; such as mobile apps, website and content creation, including aspects of project management, product development, and content creation. - Plan spiritual engagement events for team worship meetings. Prepare meeting agenda, coordinate guest speakers and worship leaders, fill out Audio Visual requirements, and perform backstage manager duties during event. - Partner as appropriate, especially during pledge drive, with on air and social media staff; i.e. documenting listener stories or sharing listener call experiences.   This role is VERY different from that of an Associate Pastor at a Church.  Our K-LOVE & Air1 Pastors provide biblical guidance and crisis intervention for our listeners. They provide biblical phone counseling, write content for our digital media platforms, respond to prayer requests, lead prayer times for our staff, and a lot more! Our Pastors also maintain scheduled office hours, plus participate in on-call rotations.   This is aFull-Time, on-site position based out of our Franklin, TN offices.   Office hours for this position: Tuesday - Saturday from 2pm - 10:30pm CST  *with  on-call rotation.    Here's what we're looking for... - 6+ years of Pastoral Counseling and/or Chaplaincy experience, with extensive biblical counseling experience, being equipped to address suicide, child abuse, elder abuse, marriage and spiritual issues or any other problems associated with life and its experiences.  CPE a plus. - Experience walking people through life's challenges and bringing Biblical truths into their situation. - Someone who is comfortable with a high volume of calls & emails.  Who has excellent written & verbal communication skills. - This is a phone & computer intensive role, so strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task in a windows environment is a must! This role provides support to the Regional Field Engineers and Regional Engineering Manager (REM) by using equipment knowledge to troubleshoot problems in the field as well as perform field proofs on signals, equipment maintenance and installation, and ensuring proper operation of signals.    This position provides the training needed to pursue your career as a Field Engineer I. Travel up to 75% required.    What you will be doing: - Work at EMF radio sites performing assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of broadcast equipment (such as audio processors, modulation monitors and transmitters) used in radio broadcasting, ensuring programs are broadcast to EMF’s high standard of quality. - Install equipment in racks; wire, program, and test the equipment and completed racks. - Perform FCC compliance tests including RF Proof of Performance, RFR, and other studies evaluating the proper operation of broadcast equipment and stations. Properly document the results of these tests and submit formal reports as required. - Assist Field Engineers and the REM with tasks such as station maintenance and construction. - Assist Field Engineers and REM with duties such as station log completion, annual inspections, and other administrative duties as assigned. - Develop and validate written technical documentation of processes and procedures, adhering to EMF documentation standards, as required and directed by REM or Senior Manager of Engineering. - Assist Field Engineers with troubleshooting over the phone or in person. - Partner and communicate with EMF and contract engineers to accomplish objectives and tasks. - Contribute to network upgrade or specialized projects as assigned. - Perform work on non-broadcast equipment (such as electrical generators, air conditioning units, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, etc.) as conditions dictate. - Travel to remote sites to perform installations or repairs as assigned. - Complete other duties as assigned by Regional Engineering Manager or Senior Manager of Engineering.
