The Design Project Manager will work collaboratively with the Art Director, Creative Director, Vice President of Marketing, and the Design Studio team. This role manages schedules, arranges assignments, communicates progress to all Team Members, prepares action plans, and gathers necessary resources. The Design Project Manager (DPM) makes sure the lines of communication and the status of projects are clear between creative Team Members, producers, and stakeholders.  The DPM helps manage the distribution and availability of Brand Assets and all print pricing and ordering. Ultimately, this role will provide any support necessary to help ensure our Design meets quality standards and are completed on time and within budget. Success for this position is a more orderly clear process, with video deliverables completed on time and with excellence.   Here's some of what you will be doing: - Ensure project success through coordinating tracking and reporting; managing the set-up; monitoring progress and addressing potential issues with leadership; measuring and reporting on project performance; and serving as the point of contact for project participants. - Use EMF approved productivity and collaboration tools to track project deliverables, track workload and assignments, and administer core duties. - Schedule Design Member assignments based on availability and workload. - Adhere to pre-defined workflows and processes, and willingly helps stakeholders adhere to following the procedures. - Coordinate leadership communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with Team Members, partners, and vendors. - Schedule and facilitate Creative Brief meetings. Be able to clarify meeting purpose, desired outcome, and process. - Provide support to brand asset management ensuring assets are properly cataloged and templates are maintained. - Work with Art Director and Senior Designers to update and maintain online brand guides for all brands. - Gather specs for print projects, obtain quotes, and manage the production process with vendors. - Help proof team design work to assure accuracy and adherence to project specs. - Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele. - Perform various team and project tasks as assigned. Here's some experience we are seeking:  - AA Degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience. (Experience working for a church/ministry, production house or student position at University, desired.) - Basic understanding of design production (fonts, colors, etc.) required. - Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with ministry-specific programs and software. - Prior work experience in a design production or marketing environment is preferred. - Experience in print production and print ordering, preferred. - Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties. Ability to hold all parties accountable to project deadlines. - Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities. Detail oriented and possess strong follow through. - Possess solid time management skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Tapping into the power of digital content, the Senior Designer ignites hope through graphic and mixed media design by encouraging our target audiences with God’s Word and promises. This role contributes to our core excellence through design that directly supports and our product lines through campaigns and branded content creation in physical and social platforms. As a world-class creative who understands composition, photography usage, and incorporating produced video content into design deliverables, the Sr Designer  actively engages in reaching and influencing a new audience through visual content that is spiritually engaging, culturally relevant, unique, and compelling.   The Senior Designer works with the Art Director on the overall aesthetics of the brands. This position may help lead a smaller team of with potential direct reports of Designers and Junior Designers to discover innovative ways to tell stories and communicate ideas through various forms of digital media, including graphics, art and photography. The Senior Designer leads and contributes to creative planning and brainstorming, helping develop visual direction on projects.   In addition, the Senior Designer works with the web content team creating design assets for web, mobile apps and email. This position also collaborates with and gives branding direction to UI/UX designer on digital projects.   Here's some of what you will be doing:   Provide day-to-day leadership on campaigns, brand or brands as assigned by the Art Director. Taking leadership by assigning projects and manage deadlines and milestones. - With a “Social First” mindset, able to incorporate produced photography, video, and basic motion to create content and key art that is compelling, and then translate this content into static imagery. - Incorporate design and brand guidelines for K-LOVE, Air 1, and other EMF brands. Create visual designs and concepts for marketing collateral, e.g., online and print content such as website posts, promos, ad banners, custom/promotional emails, and marketing and communication pieces (internal and external work). - Produce graphic sketches, design comps, and copy layout, determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, based on layout principles and aesthetic design concepts for print production. - Create and update graphics for websites, mobile apps, social media, and video projects. - Utilize knowledge of target markets and our brands’ cultures to ensure projects are executed with consistent branding and messaging, creating “fresh” and relevant designs and artwork. - Under the direction of the Art Director, provide concepts and ideas and collaborate on marketing initiatives. - Assist in photo and video shoots. - Help maintain and update the Digital Asset Management website (WIDEN) and team file server (BOX).   This role is VERY different from that of an Associate Pastor at a Church.  Our K-LOVE & Air1 Pastors provide biblical guidance and crisis intervention for our listeners. They provide biblical phone counseling, write content for our digital media platforms, respond to prayer requests, lead prayer times for our staff, and a lot more! Our Pastors also maintain scheduled office hours, plus participate in on-call rotations.   This is aFull-Time, on-site position based out of our Franklin, TN offices. Available schedule:  Tuesday - Saturday 2:00pm - 10:30pm   Here's some of what you will be doing..... Provide pastoral and biblical counsel to K-LOVE/Air1 listeners via phone on a variety of life topics from Biblical questions to crisis intervention. As appropriate pray, counsel, and direct listeners to resources in their area for long-term assistance. As part of the goal to take listener calls live, the Associate Pastor will: - Maintain scheduled hours and participate in on-call rotation (nights and weekends), assuming the responsibilities of On-Call Pastor during assigned period. - Continue to grow in depth of scripture and biblical knowledge applying scripture and knowledge in response to listener needs. - Maintain accurate phone availability status. - Serve as back up for the on-call pastor as needed. - Make referrals to local assistance, e.g. churches, shelters, rehab facilities and counsellors. - Regularly pray with and for our listeners. Respond verbally and in writing to prayer requests that come in on a daily basis via phone and/or e-mail. - On an assigned basis, lead Prayer Time for EMF team members, where listener and team member needs are prayed over. (Established times are 8:45am, 1:45pm, 4:45pm) - Write articles, devotionals, and “Question and Answers” for myK-LOVE app and other digital media platforms. Prepare Devotional Tracks for my K-LOVE app. - Research and prepare Roundtable Discussion topics for listeners in conjunction with the Programming Department. - Partner as appropriate, especially during pledge drive, with on air and social media staff; i.e. documenting listener stories or sharing listener call experiences. - Lead Departmental Devotionals as requested for other departments, e.g. during Summit, summer events, etc. - Participate in event and outreach initiatives off-campus as requested and approved. - Contribute to an environment in which the EMF Ministry Department will grow as the K-LOVE/Air1 audience grows. Continually seek new resources and groups that will help expand the department’s mission to provide spiritual help and resources to the audience. - Provide limited counseling services to EMF team members during times of crisis, as outlined in EMF Policies and Procedures. Provide referrals as appropriate. - Follow the legal requirements of a mandated reporter under state law. Here's what we're looking for... - 6+ years of Pastoral Counseling and/or Chaplaincy experience, with extensive biblical counseling experience, being equipped to address suicide, child abuse, elder abuse, marriage and spiritual issues or any other problems associated with life and its experiences.  CPE a plus. - Experience walking people through life's challenges and bringing Biblical truths into their situation. - Someone who is comfortable with a high volume of calls & emails.  Who has excellent written & verbal communication skills. - This is a phone & computer intensive role, so strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task in a windows environment is a must! Here's some of what you will be doing: - Provide or assist with timely and accurate sales and personal property tax filings for states assigned and maintain a tax file for each site/state as needed. - Maintain an active relationship with key members of the Finance and Engineering Departments to obtain data needed for filings. - Ensure timely and accurate fixed asset information necessary for property tax reporting. - Resolve any discrepancies between asset listings and the standard asset schedule for a station or translator by requesting site inventories and explanations from the Engineering Department. - Maintain knowledge of each site through the review of lease and acquisition documents. - Determine accurate reporting jurisdictions by tying down the exact location for each site. Specifically, verify site locations in Accounting and Property Tax Management Systems with leasing databases, assuring the sites listed are correctly, reported in the appropriate tax jurisdiction and that we have captured and reported on all appropriate locations. - Research and resolve tax issues that arise. Pro-actively communicate issues with senior tax team members. Reporting to the Vice President of Programming Operations, the Newsroom Manager oversees day to day logistical operations of the EMF newsroom. This would include ensuring that day to day shifts are covered, newsroom equipment needs are maintained, provide direction to newsroom staff on local news breakaways as needed. During times of national crisis, the Newsroom Manager would assign anchor talent to deliver network branded newscasts. Additionally, this role requires consistent collaboration with EMF’s Public Affairs Content Manager, News Feature & Digital Content Manager and Manager of Traffic & Board Operations in performing various duties, some of which are outlined below.   Here's some of what you will be doing: - Responsible to ensure day to day scheduling of Newsroom participation. - Assist the VP of Programming Operations with planning and implementation for Newsroom, with a focus on goals, timelines, budgets, communication, results tracking, and celebration. - Formulate and organize training for new hires. - Perform and provide direction on needed local news breakaways as needed and perform air checking reviews for existing anchors of their local news breakaways once completed. - Fulfill all ADP approval requirements for News Team Members. - Communicate with VP of Programming Operations on Newsroom equipment needs. - Provide insight to VP of Programming Operations on staffing working relationships and issues as needed. - Keep consistent communication with News Feature & Digital Content Manager in regards to team members participation in providing content for digital news platforms. - Keep consistent communication with Manager of Traffic & Board Operations in the areas of hiring, training, and performance of dual role (Newsroom & Master Control) teammates. - As needed work in coordination with the Public Affairs Content Manager (PACM), to help schedule local and network public affair segments to prepare for broadcast. Specifically, verify site locations in Accounting and Property Tax Management Systems with Tableau/Signal Data, assuring the sites listed are correctly reported in the appropriate tax jurisdiction and that we have captured and reported on all appropriate locations. - Research and resolve tax issues that arise. Proactively communicate issues with Senior Tax Manager, clearly stating the issues, facts, and resolutions. Communicate issues and resolutions to other Finance Team Members as appropriate. - Reduce taxes by applying for all available Christian or charitable exemptions, where cost/benefit warrants. - Protest excessively assessed valuation notices by timely protests to assessors if tax savings warrants. - Follow-up with counties on billing discrepancies and submit all bills for timely payment. - Manage use of PTMS property tax software for preparation of all returns, and implement additional features contained within this program to improve efficiency, cost savings, and accuracy. - Analyze and develop reporting for the finance department; including such things as property subject to tax, assessed values, exempt values and taxes paid and taxes saved. - Implement PTMS forecast module for projections and planning. - Plan strategies to streamline procedures thereby increasing efficiency during the tax return filing season. Review these strategies with the Senior Tax Manager and partner with implementation. - For annual insurance renewals, prepare: - A listing of tower sites, working with engineering. - A listing of replacement costs for other equipment locations (broadcasting equipment). - A listing of all buildings which are Real Property. - Monitor EMF’s owned land and studio sites for real property taxes. - Insure real property tax bills have been received and paid. - Be a prime source of strategic information concerning current property values and details. - Assist with any tax related filings and research projects as assigned. - As needed, provide training and day-to-day instruction for temporary help in assisting with the above functions. - Be aware of new activities within the company which may entail new tax filings and let the Senior Tax manager know of them.   We are looking for a very specific skill set and business acumen. Here's some of what you will be doing:  - As a member of the Partnership & Live Events team, demonstrate the team’s vision in day-to-day activities. - Partner with Team Members to help them achieve their goals through project scoping, monitoring milestones, removing roadblocks, and addressing needed decisions. - Partner with Team Members to evaluate, select, and engage vendors to accomplish project work including preparing Request for Proposals (RFP), Statement of Work (SOW), and other related documents. - Drive change through facilitating stakeholder collaboration, smoothing communication barriers when they exist. - Use relationship building and influencing skills to effectively manage the direction of projects to successful completion. - Manage stakeholder expectations across key project constraints including budget, time, quality, resources, and scope. - Develop comprehensive project deliverables including project plans, project strategy/vision, charter, goals and objectives, scope, schedule, and resource requirements (i.e., budget, people, and tools). - Partner with senior-level Team Members in creating project risk and issue management plans, including appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. - Provide project updates to project teams, and key stakeholders on a regular basis, including reporting on project issues and risks. - Use appropriate communication techniques based on the audience to ensure successful outcomes. - Lead project team to ensure appropriate stakeholders are involved in all aspects of the project. - Think outside of the box to remove roadblocks and support the project team to achieve results. - Utilize Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) methodologies and incorporate best practices into daily work practices. - Consult and collaborate with senior-level Team Members and project stakeholders to create, review, and approve project proposals. - Manage multiple mid-size projects simultaneously. - Hold project Team Members accountable for completing project work on time, in scope and within budget, meeting customer expectations. - Identify, assess, and recommend innovative solutions that improve ministry operations and the ability to serve our customers.
