Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…
- Contribute to long term planning and vision implementation through identification of strategic development initiatives, collaboration, prioritization, communication, and evaluation of results, while preserving EMF’s reputation for integrity and excellence.
- Engage Chief Finance Officer (CFO) on media industry and signal development issues, trends, and proposals for strategic initiatives and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with other departments such as Finance, Legal, Technology, Leasing, and other departments.
- Contribute to stewardship of existing assets, including signals, and to strategic planning and implementation for Strategic Investments, with a focus on department goals, timelines, budgets, communication, results tracking, and celebration.
- Assess Strategic Investments performance against both annual goals and plans. Provide strategic recommendations based on operational analysis, research, and projections, cost identification and allocation, and resource analysis.
- Ensure tools and systems are in place to provide critical operational and project information to the CFO and others and make actionable recommendations on both strategic goals and operational constraints.
- Ensure EMF’s FCC applications are processed and approved by providing technical expertise and project management to a team of Signal Development Specialists chartered with the completion of FM full power and FM translator FCC applications.
- Work with the CFO to establish targets and measures that adequately reflect Strategic Investments objectives.
- Plan and manage FCC application projects. Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget, with exceptional quality. Provide leadership in defining and communicating project scope and schedules; prioritize and establish deadlines; assist with workflow; and manage standards, quality, and acceptance rate of applications.
- Continually evaluate and make recommendations for further acquisition opportunities. Review existing facilities and analyze and recommend further site opportunities.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of FCC rules and regulations. Ensure staff and department is thoroughly trained and understands FCC broadcast rules and regulations.
- Regularly suggest and implement improvements and innovations in FCC application process, resulting in increased efficiency, quality, and acceptability rate.
- Independently complete FM station applications to include creation of standard and engineering exhibits, completion of FCC application forms, and electronically filing FCC applications.

- Bachelor’s Degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
- 5 to 7+ years’ experience in Asset Transactions, including signals, corporate real-estate or other assets, or similar relevant experience.
- Expert financial analysis and negotiation skills.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of FCC Broadcast rules and regulations.
- Advance knowledge and understanding of V-Soft and Comstudy broadcast software.
- Project management experience with proven ability to plan, organize, lead and direct projects.
- Proven ability to deal with multiple, simultaneous problems in a systematic, logical manner.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams)

How you will be serving:
- Carry out a thorough framework for prospect qualification and engagement in support of the Executive Director of Family Partnerships, as they fill the pipeline for overall new and complex gifts.
- Work in close partnership with EMF’s Prospect & Research Team for thorough understanding of prospect profiles and necessary research.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in CRM.
- Actively engage with donor contacts and touchpoints including activity reporting.

- Planning, implementing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.

- Create and drive remediate Service incident tickets and participate in the change management process.

- Provide input into the development of technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
- Apply Security Awareness training programs and administer simulated phishing platform.
- Administer and support enterprise security controls.

Here's some experience and background we are seeking:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, information systems, or equivalent experience.
- Security+ certification. preferred.
- Certifications in Information Security are an added plus, CEH, PenTest+, GPEN, OSCP, or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of Information Security systems experience.

You are no stranger to Federal, State, and Local tax laws, so filing and organizing EMF’s taxes is a walk in the park for you- working on tax projects such as real estate and personal property tax filings, sales tax, Form 990 planning, and overall process improvements. Your fresh perspective and previous experience enable you to look for ways to improve current operations and use best practices that ensure compliance, reduce costs, and avoid operational consequences. You will work in collaboration with our incredible tax team, a group of people who have a passion for tax and a love for Jesus!
This role will reside in our Franklin, TN.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Provide or assist with timely and accurate sales and personal property tax filings for states assigned and maintain a tax file for each site/state as needed.
- Maintain an active relationship with key members of the Finance and Engineering Departments to obtain data needed for filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate fixed asset information necessary for property tax reporting.
- Resolve any discrepancies between asset listings and the standard asset schedule for a station or translator by requesting site inventories and explanations from the Engineering Department.
- Maintain knowledge of each site through the review of lease and acquisition documents.
- Determine accurate reporting jurisdictions by tying down the exact location for each site. Specifically, verify site locations in Accounting and Property Tax Management Systems with leasing databases, assuring the sites listed are correctly, reported in the appropriate tax jurisdiction and that we have captured and reported on all appropriate locations.
- Research and resolve tax issues that arise. Pro-actively communicate issues with senior tax team members.
Background and qualifications preferred:
- Tax analysis and reporting, ideally in a multi-state environment.
- Knowledge and proficiency with Federal, State, and Local tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
- Experiences in the preparation and timely filing of sales and/or personal and real property tax returns.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Track record of meeting deadlines in a efficient and effective manner.
- Strong computer skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other analytic tools. Knowledge of MapInfo, Google Earth Pro, and/or RadioSoft are a plus.

- Effectively and efficiently handle duties and provide project management coordination for the Client Manager and A&R representation.
- Provide outstanding customer service to podcasters and their team. Act as a point of contact for AccessMore in executing podcaster deliverables.
- Act as a liaison operationally from AccessMore to the podcaster’s team.
- Coordinate assigned podcast series needs with the Operations Team at AccessMore.
- Perform day-to-day or week-to-week communication with podcasters, answering questions, collecting feedback, and progressing operational tasks.
- Support AccessMore sales and business services by facilitating communication with podcasters.
- Handle communication and scheduling needed to book our network Podcasters on internal and external podcasts per A&R representation or Client Manager direction.

- Gear Management:
- Operate and maintain all camera, grip, and electric gear.
- Allocate, order, and verify gear rentals.

- Confidently lead crews through production.

What You Will Be Doing...
- Transmitter maintenance & upkeep.
- Install, maintain, and repair broadcast equipment (such as audio processors) used in preparing and transmitting EMF’s programming to the highest possible level of quality.
- Install and maintain microwave and satellite equipment used in transmitting EMF’s programming.
- Regularly operate equipment that regulates the signal strength, clarity, and sound of EMF’s broadcasts.

- Pro-actively analyze and fix technical faults on equipment and systems to the module level.
- At times, the work can be highly physical.

What We Are Looking For...
- 2+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing transmitters. (larger solid state transmitters)
- HD Radio experience preferred.
- Solid RF background.
- Good understanding of the components necessary in a broadcast air-chain.
- Elementary understanding of satellite technology.
- Ability to solder and desolder electronic components without causing damage to the components or PC board.
- Knowledge of applicable, broadcast-related FCC rules and regulations.
- Proficiency with MS Office products and other common software. (Internet browsers, etc.)
- SBE Certification highly desirable.

As our Tower SiteLeasing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our mission to reach more people for Christ! Your meticulous attention to detail and seamless coordination with Legal, Finance, and Site Development teams will ensure the accurate management of crucial data. By assisting in EMF's acquisitions and dispositions, you'll contribute directly to spreading the message of Christ to a rapidly growing listener base!
This position is located on-site in our Franklin, TN office; Monday-Friday, 8-hour day
What A Typical Day Might Look Like...
- Responsibilities include, but not limited to summarization and abstraction of leases, updating, and improving the database with all lease abstracts; renewing/obtaining extensions; negotiation of renewals; communication with landlords; research lease issues and accounting discrepancies; and evaluation and analysis of lease documentation.
- Coordinate assigned lease processes from lease execution to rent commencement, with minimal supervision.
- Work directly with Landlords to procure new leases, renewals and/or renegotiate existing leases with the direction of the VP of Signal Development and support from Leasing Supervisor.
- Responsible for communication to landlords, tenants and vendors for various tasks including negotiating lease terms, securing amendments, notice of renewals/terminations, letters of intent, acquisitions, and dispositions. Assist in proofing legal documents.
- Assist Leasing Supervisor in the creation and implementation of systems and documentation to increase efficiency of department, including spreadsheets, forms, and checklists as necessary.
- Under guidance of Leasing Supervisor, partner with Legal Team to assist in the process of EMF Acquisitions and Dispositions; this includes gathering documents and accounting set up/terminations (lease, utilities, etc.) as necessary.
- Ensure quality control; verify and substantiate data accuracy, e.g., tower site coordinates, landlord contact information, lease term information, and rent payment schedules.
- Partner with Site Development, Legal, Finance, Tax, and other Departments to effectively manage data residing in various databases; assist other departments with contract/leasing questions; research discrepancies and verify validity of documentation in Contracts & Leasing resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For...
- 5+ years’ experience in lease administration, law, or similar/relevant field.
- Experience reviewing agreements/contracts.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of FCC Broadcast rules and regulations, a plus.
- Familiarity with legal and contractual terminology; knowledge of engineering terminology, a plus.
- Project management experience with the ability to independently plan, organize and administrate work and projects.
- Proven ability to deal with multiple, simultaneous problems in a systematic, logical manner.
- Strong ability to reconcile accounts and invoices, a plus.

As a Care Team Specialist I, here are a few things you'd be doing...
- Answer pastoral phone calls and complete initial intake and assessment.
- Provide crisis call screening and follow-up to all incoming communication channels, working closely with the ministry pastoral team.
- Pray with callers without counseling, advising or rebuking. For liability reasons, this role does NOT provide pastoral counsel at all.
- Provide caller resources and scripture to assist them in their situation.
- Demonstrate an understanding of scripture by including appropriate verses in responses; demonstrating the different tone that accompanies the Air1 voice vs. K-LOVE.
- From a pastoral support perspective, respond to email, social media and other communication from listeners.
Here's what we're looking for...
- 2+ years of experience within some sort of prayer ministry is required. (i.e. Church, school, etc.)
- Solid understanding of scripture and demonstrate strong knowledge of God's word.
- Able to demonstrate discernment on spiritual issues and have excellent listening skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills; MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Social Media platforms, ability to learn new systems. Keyboarding speed of about 45+ WPM.

Talent and leadership Development

- Provide functional leadership to Pastoral Team.
- Utilize the EMF Leadership Framework in setting professional goals for self and direct reports. Actively seek and partake in training & education to deepen Biblical understanding, media/business acumen, leadership knowledge, interpersonal awareness, and communication skills.
Here's some of what you will be doing:
- Manage the daily operations of the pastoral team to include communications and system management to ensure every interaction with our listeners creates a positive, meaningful experience, strengthening our audience connection to Christ.
- Lead the Pastoral team to include hiring, staff development, and functional role leadership.
- Partner with the team to develop tools to manage, meet and exceed key performance indicators. Tools may include training and quality programs, system, and process efficiency, reporting dashboards, staff forecasting and workflow management tools. The result is a pastoral team which is equipped, empowered, informed, and encouraged.
- Balance accountability and encouragement. Ensure our listener needs are consistently met while maintaining an encouraged, motivated and “spiritually full” team. Balance the needs of the ministry and our listeners while maintaining awareness of your team to avoid burnout.
- Communicate clear expectations to accomplish goals. Acknowledge strengths, coach challenges, influence the team to display teamwork, a solution-oriented mindset, and commitment to excellence.
- Provide pastoral and biblical counsel to K-LOVE/Air1 listeners via phone on a variety of life topics from Biblical questions to crisis intervention. As appropriate pray, counsel, and direct listeners to resources in their area for long-term assistance.
- Regularly pray with and for our listeners. Respond verbally and in writing to prayer requests that come in on a daily basis via phone and/or e-mail.
- On an assigned basis, lead Prayer Time for EMF team members, where listener and team member needs are prayed over. (Established times are 8:45am, 1:45pm, 4:45pm)
- Write articles, devotionals, and “Question and Answers” for myK-LOVE app and other digital media platforms. Prepare Devotional Tracks for my K-LOVE app.
- Research and prepare Roundtable Discussion topics for listeners in conjunction with the Programming Department.
- Partner as appropriate, especially during pledge drive, with on air and social media staff, i.e. documenting listener stories or sharing listener call experiences.
- Lead Departmental Devotionals as requested for other departments, e.g. during Summit, summer events, etc.
- Participate in event and outreach initiatives off-campus as requested and approved.
- Contribute to an environment in which the EMF Ministry Department will grow as the K-LOVE/Air1 audience grows. Continually seek new resources and groups that will help expand the department’s mission to provide spiritual help and resources to the audience.
- Provide limited counseling services to EMF Team Members during times of crisis, as outlined in EMF Policies and Procedures. Provide referrals as appropriate.
- Follow the legal requirements of a mandated reporter under state law.
Here's what we are looking for:
- At least six (6) years of pastoral experience handling a wide range of pastoral functions, or equivalent education and experience.

In this role, you will....
- Biblically and theologically synthesize the beliefs of a ministry organization, person, materials, websites, and social media sites, including given and discovered resources, to ensure the highest integrity and excellence of our ministry’s content and partnerships through vetting.
- Report and present findings to our Content Advisory Board.
- Maintain constant awareness of Christian cultural trends while keeping a finger on the pulse of current partnerships, societal and cultural trends, and the intersection of a Christian Worldview and societal movements.
