Founded in 1982 in Santa Rosa, CA, with a singular radio station, EMF today owns and operates the nation's two largest Christian music radio networks (K-LOVE and Air1) with over 1,000 broadcast signals across all 50 states, streaming audio reaching around the world, and a growing family of media ministries including podcasts, books, films, concerts, and events. EMF employs nearly 500 team members between its offices in Nashville, TN, Rocklin, CA, and field locations around the country. You can view our mission and values here Mission, Beliefs & Values.   What we can offer you: As the nation’s largest nonprofit Christian Broadcast/Media organization, we provide a competitive salary range of $115-125K base – and that’s not all! Our Total Rewards package also includes outstanding medical, dental, and vision protection, as well as a robust 401K plan. But there’s no standup meeting today - it’s Friday which means it’s Game Time! This week the consensus is Rocket League. You reassure yourself that Reese’s winning streak ends today. After an hour of fun and banter, you say goodbye and get back to work. You’re currently working on hooking up a new service to pull song lyrics and display them on the web player. You have a question about the mockups you’re working from, so you ping Ryan, the team’s beanie-wearing UI/UX wizard, asking for input. After throwing different ideas back and forth you settle on a solution and get to work. A few hours pass and you’re happy with the outcome, so you send your task to QA. Now it’s the afternoon and you notice Team Prayer starts in a few minutes. Joining the Teams meeting you listen to Pastor Marco do a 5-minute devotional before everyone opens the prayer app to pray for others. You do the same, and every time you hit the “I Prayed” button on a prayer you smile knowing that person was just notified that you prayed for them. You dive back into work and pick up a bug that came in about the signals service. You notice your lyrics work passed QA and is approved to go to production. You send a PR to the team for approval and then reach out to Reese, our Sr. Dev, to collaborate on a fix for the bug. Before you know it it’s time to call it a day and get your weekend started. As you walk away from your computer, you feel blessed that you get to use your development skills to have an eternal impact serving God.     As an Equal Opportunity Employer, EMF makes employment decisions based on merit and other legitimate reasons. Are you looking for a part-time opportunity where you can make an impact in your community? If so, this may be the position for you!   Marketing at EMF functions by acting as a ministry-to-marketplace matchmaker for each of EMF’s brands and associated products. As part of the broader EMF Marketing department, The Community Engagement team (composed of field marketing teams) exists to create a highly potent, tangible presence in our local markets. By developing relationships in our communities, connecting with our audience at events, and building a local partnership network, we aim to bring our brands to life in a way that serves our community and helps to further the mission of EMF.   This part-time opportunity supports our local Nashville Community Engagement Team. Your hours will average anywhere from 19 – 29 hours per week. You must be able to attend events in the evenings, weekends and have a flexible schedule. Once the Marketing Manager adds an event to the calendar, your role is to prepare for a fun booth engagement alongside the Marketing Coordinator. On the day of the event, you’ll pack up the station vehicle with supplies (ie. tent, equipment) and drive to the location to set up. Once your booth is setup, it’s your time to shine! You’ll engage, encourage and sometimes pray with attendees, representing our brands in a positive, friendly and meaningful way. If you’re wondering if it’s a physical job, it absolutely can be. You can also expect to be standing on your feet 4-6 hours at a time. However, time truly flies when you’re hosting games and having fun!
