The Senor VoIP Engineer is responsible for maintaining the organization’s on premise Cisco CUCM & UCCX telephony architecture, Cisco Cloud Contact Center, and other auxiliary telephony systems. The Senior VoIP Engineer will also support projects for VoIP initiatives, planning, and configuring advanced features as requested by various business stakeholders and contact centers to ensure that the organization’s telephony requirements are met. The role collaborates with various technical teams to validate technical designs, ensure system deliverables are completed on time, and technical solutions are adequately tested before deployment.   Here's some of what you will be doing: - Serve as Tier III escalation point for all staff voice and collaboration needs including escalating to service partners, vendors, & maintaining a Service Level Agreement for customers. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting to Layer 2/3 Cisco switching and routing infrastructure including Voice Gateways, ATA’s, ISR’s, Nexus, & Catalyst devices. - Provide enhancements to support daily operations for Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connections, & Cisco Unified Contact Center Express based on business stakeholder requirements. - Ensure the use of sound methodologies and collaboration with other technical staff in enterprise architecture design and ensure that technical solutions incorporate “best practices” and adhere to EMF’s architecture and compliance standards.  - Ensure architecture, security, design, development, and testing standards are up-to-date and adhered to including the creation of technical documentation. - Provide guidance to system security and ensure practices meet PCI certification processes. - Share responsibility with the Architecture, Information Security, Software Development, and other departments to manage ongoing enterprise architecture governance structure on basis of business and technology strategies. - Keep current with technology and trends and propose governing principles to guide decision making pertinent to telephony infrastructure. - Promote agreed upon infrastructure principles and architecture and ensure inclusion, communication, and implementation across the organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Programming Operations, the Newsroom Manager oversees day to day logistical operations of the EMF newsroom. This would include ensuring that day to day shifts are covered, newsroom equipment needs are maintained, provide direction to newsroom staff on local news breakaways as needed. During times of national crisis, the Newsroom Manager would assign anchor talent to deliver network branded newscasts. Additionally, this role requires consistent collaboration with EMF’s Public Affairs Content Manager, News Feature & Digital Content Manager and Manager of Traffic & Board Operations in performing various duties, some of which are outlined below.   Here's some of what you will be doing: - Responsible to ensure day to day scheduling of Newsroom participation. - Assist the VP of Programming Operations with planning and implementation for Newsroom, with a focus on goals, timelines, budgets, communication, results tracking, and celebration. - Formulate and organize training for new hires. - Perform and provide direction on needed local news breakaways as needed and perform air checking reviews for existing anchors of their local news breakaways once completed. - Fulfill all ADP approval requirements for News Team Members. - Communicate with VP of Programming Operations on Newsroom equipment needs. - Provide insight to VP of Programming Operations on staffing working relationships and issues as needed. - Keep consistent communication with News Feature & Digital Content Manager in regards to team members participation in providing content for digital news platforms. - Keep consistent communication with Manager of Traffic & Board Operations in the areas of hiring, training, and performance of dual role (Newsroom & Master Control) teammates. - As needed work in coordination with the Public Affairs Content Manager (PACM), to help schedule local and network public affair segments to prepare for broadcast. As our Leasing Specialist II-III (Tower Operations), you will play a crucial role in our mission to reach more people for Christ! By assisting in EMF's acquisitions and dispositions, you'll contribute directly to spreading the message of Christ to a rapidly growing listener base!   Here's some experience we are seeking...  - 5+ years’ experience in lease administration, law, or similar/relevant field. - Experience reviewing agreements/contracts. - Basic knowledge and understanding of FCC Broadcast rules and regulations, a plus. - Familiarity with legal and contractual terminology; knowledge of engineering terminology, a plus. - Project management experience with the ability to independently plan, organize and administrate work and projects. - Proven ability to deal with multiple, simultaneous problems in a systematic, logical manner. - Strong ability to reconcile accounts and invoices, a plus. - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships in person, by phone and through written and email correspondence. - Computer skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook), internet and research skills, and knowledge of SharePoint and Lucernex a plus. - Demonstrated ability to work independently; establishing and meeting performance/ministry goals.   What A Typical Day Might Look Like... - Responsibilities include, but not limited to summarization and abstraction of leases, updating, and improving the database with all lease abstracts; renewing/obtaining extensions; negotiation of renewals; communication with landlords; research lease issues and accounting discrepancies; and evaluation and analysis of lease documentation. - Coordinate assigned lease processes from lease execution to rent commencement, with minimal supervision. - Work directly with Landlords to procure new leases, renewals and/or renegotiate existing leases with the direction of the VP of Signal Development and support from Leasing Supervisor. - Responsible for communication to landlords, tenants and vendors for various tasks including negotiating lease terms, securing amendments, notice of renewals/terminations, letters of intent, acquisitions, and dispositions. We're seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our tax department. Teaming up with the Senior Tax Manager, you'll leverage your expertise in Federal, State, and Local Tax laws to ensure accurate and timely filing of all our tax compliance reports. From personal and real estate property tax filings to sales tax and Form 990, you'll handle it all with precision.   But that's not all – you'll also be a proactive problem-solver, diving into research to resolve tax issues, ironing out valuation snags with local government agencies, and implementing strategies to streamline processes and cut costs. Your ability to communicate these complexities effectively to management will be key. If so, please read on.   This role will be on-site at our Franklin, TN offices   Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…   - Provide timely and accurate sales, personal and real estate property tax filings for states assigned and maintain a tax file for each site/state as needed. - Proactively obtain and file business licenses in cities/counties with this requirement. - Function as coordinator of the financial information from internal finance departments to outside auditors in preparation of Form 990 and other tax reports as assigned. - Maintain an active relationship with the Fixed Asset Accountant and Engineering Department. - Ensure timely and accurate fixed asset information necessary for property reporting. - Resolve any discrepancies between book asset listings and the engineering inventories for a station or translator by requesting an explanation of differences from the Engineering Department. - Maintain knowledge of each site through the review of lease and acquisition documents. Communicate with Legal, Leasing, and other departments, to obtain additional information necessary for accurate reporting. - Determine accurate reporting jurisdictions by tying down the exact location for each site. Specifically, verify site locations in Accounting and Property Tax Management Systems with Tableau/Signal Data, assuring the sites listed are correctly reported in the appropriate tax jurisdiction and that we have captured and reported on all appropriate locations. - Research and resolve tax issues that arise. Proactively communicate issues with Senior Tax Manager, clearly stating the issues, facts, and resolutions. Communicate issues and resolutions to other Finance Team Members as appropriate. - Reduce taxes by applying for all available Christian or charitable exemptions, where cost/benefit warrants. - Protest excessively assessed valuation notices by timely protests to assessors if tax savings warrants. - Follow-up with counties on billing discrepancies and submit all bills for timely payment. - Manage use of PTMS property tax software for preparation of all returns, and implement additional features contained within this program to improve efficiency, cost savings, and accuracy. - Analyze and develop reporting for the finance department; including such things as property subject to tax, assessed values, exempt values and taxes paid and taxes saved. - Implement PTMS forecast module for projections and planning. - Plan strategies to streamline procedures thereby increasing efficiency during the tax return filing season. Review these strategies with the Senior Tax Manager and partner with implementation. - For annual insurance renewals, prepare: - A listing of tower sites, working with engineering. - A listing of replacement costs for other equipment locations (broadcasting equipment). - A listing of all buildings which are Real Property. - Monitor EMF’s owned land and studio sites for real property taxes. - Insure real property tax bills have been received and paid. - Be a prime source of strategic information concerning current property values and details. - Assist with any tax related filings and research projects as assigned. - As needed, provide training and day-to-day instruction for temporary help in assisting with the above functions. - Be aware of new activities within the company which may entail new tax filings and let the Senior Tax manager know of them.   We are looking for a very specific skill set and business acumen. Ensure expeditious restoration to proper operation of any facility found to be out of compliance and encourage efforts toward the goal of reducing and eliminating broadcast facility downtime. - Communicate with, and requesting work from, team members and engineers (including contract engineers) in other cities and states, both directly and through subordinates, to resolve technical problems. - In collaboration with others, research, design, and develop new technologies and methodologies to improve Engineering operations. - Preparing, approve, and manage departmental operating, personnel, and capital expenditures budgets. - Monitor the progress of operational projects and work to ensure those activities occur according to schedule and budget. - Participate in strategic decisions about broadcast-related technology and assess and advise senior management on technological and procedural advances. Leadership: - Accountable for the development of self and Team members within area of oversight, effectuated through efforts such as: - Interact with all team members to encourage, evaluate, train, build trust, assist, etc., including regularly traveling to engage with Field Team members. - Provide strategic leadership, mentoring and development of a highly competent and responsive Engineering team, ensuring alignment of goals and ministry initiatives with EMF’s mission. Actively seek and partake in training & education to deepen Biblical understanding, technical knowledge, media/business acumen, leadership knowledge, emotional intelligence, interpersonal awareness, and communication skills. - Demonstrate the qualities of a lifetime learner in the disciplines relevant to effectively leading and performing job duties by taking personal responsibility for professional development and training. - Oversee training and development of personnel at all levels within area of oversight.   Here's some experience we are seeking... - FCC First or General class license highly desirable. - SBE, CBRE, CBTE, CSRE, CSTE, or CPBE certification highly desirable. DMB or AMB certification a plus.  - Minimum 10 years of Broadcast Engineering experience. - Strong leadership experience; growth and encouragement focused, balancing relationships, results, and health. - Deep working knowledge in most our all of the core areas listed below, and knowledgeable across all broadcast engineering and leadership related disciplines, including: - FCC rules and regulations (at least 47 C.F.R. Parts 0-2, 11, 17, 73, and 74). - Radio or Television Broadcasting, specifically Broadcast Engineering. - RF Engineering, including exciters, transmitters, filters, antennas, microwave, and satellite. - Radio broadcast facility design and construction, with a particular emphasis on transmitter sites (buildings, towers, power systems, etc.). - Computer/IT hardware and software principles (networking skills required, programming skills a plus). - Technical team leadership. - Mathematical skills including probability & statistical inference, fundamentals of algebra, geometry & trigonometry, and application of these mathematical concepts to practical situations. - Reasoning abilities, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. - Language skills, including the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
